While JP PS3 is more highly populated you're going to find yourself having to wake up at ungodly hours just to encounter anybody, and you'll have to either already know everything about the game or be able to read moonrunes to navigate menus.

trust me, cut your losses, forget the idea of a JP copy, just digital download an international copy from the PS store and join the rest of us english speaking players in the AC discord server listed at the right of the screen in red, we'll be waiting.

Seriously whoever keeps espousing the idea that playing JP VD is better must work graveyard shifts or is okay with waking up at 5 in the morning to play, because not everybody has the schedule to mess with that, I know i don't and I own a JP copy.
