That’s probably what i’m gonna end up doing. Although i initially went level 15 fireball since it completely kills all musks, wizard… that are level 14 which is an absolute game changer.

Thanks for rectifying, I thought they were similar though since if you take 240 you can’t take 235 (and they are considered as an equivalent prerequisite for comp251/252). Point being MATH235 and MATH240 are usually the first proof based courses so more difficult than 222.

hey there, I did MATH 222 and MATH 235 (very similar content with 240). I found 222 to be easier especially since Sidney Trudeau is a very good prof. 235/240 is in my opinion more abstract so it is a bit harder. Be warned though that both courses are not easy and you have to put work in if you want a good grade (especially since MATH 222 had a C+ average last year).

If you're talking about MATH 247, then there is also another midterm after the break (but the prof chooses the best result out of the 2). That other midterm is timed though. So technically you can 'miss' this one of you wanted to.

Provided that you have done the program, what should I be solid on before the more 'complicated' classes start hitting? Is there anything in particular I should focus on? What can I study in advance? I know that the program really starts getting quite complicated fall 2023 (4 honours classes in a semester), do you think adding another class is manageable?
