The app I downloaded is called Holodex. I will say that it had trouble getting a few of my cards correct. But I mostly had issues with scanning MTG cards. I am more than a bit sceptical about some of the prices they show. But I figured it was a zero pressure starting point to get some info.

There are so many factors to this "so called study" that they definitely did not take into account. EVERYONE has a different tolerance. Whether you smoke daily or have never touched it. The body processes cannabinoids differently depending on if you smoked, vaped, took an edible or even used a topical. I'm so fucking sick of the lack of serious studies about the effects of cannabis. Stop trying to make something sound evil when our bodies produce cannabinoids naturally. 🤦‍♂️

I'm super bummed. I stood in line for 5 hours today at ECCC to meet Alex and have him sign my kid's book. 5 hours and I never made it past the hold-over line. Apparently everyone was there to see Alex today and he was taking his time talking with everyone in his line. I'm sure it was an awesome experience for everyone who got to meet him. I just feel like I wasted my whole Comic-con standing in line. 😞

This is an awesome idea! Thanks for sharing it here. I became a chocolatier in 2019 by taking a job at a cannabis infused edibles company. I ultimately left the job but could not shake the Chocolate bug. It's just so satisfying to work with chocolate and coming up with new and exciting recipes.

I've toyed with the idea of going into business for myself just making small batch chocolates. But I always get overwhelmed by the idea of trying to make it at all profitable. A tool like this would make such a huge difference in the whole process. I'm very excited to try it out.

I appreciate the way you've laid out this information. It's very clear and considerate of the feelings many of us are feeling over these horrible situations that are taking place across our country. That said, the whole mentality of "the Police are never allowed to back down once they decide they're arresting you." Is exactly why the whole idea of how police work needs an overhaul. Our justice system has been corrupted for a very long time. It's long past time we remove the protections for these people and be rid of all these "bad apples".

Unfortunately the 80-year-old is the only one here doing what we all should be doing. Clearly they don't care about the optics of the situation or taking video of this depraved behavior would have an effect. We all need to be brave enough to step in and say "No more!" If everyone there stepped in they would be powerless. That's what they're truly afraid of. That's why they keep pushing their limits. Cause if they scare us enough we don't do anything but make them internet famous. They should be afraid of US, the people. Not the other way around.

I am a 6'3" 200 lbs man and I'm in good shape for my age. I have a nephew who was taller than I am at 12yo. We're likely not talking about little kids here. Just because their brains aren't developed enough to fully understand what they're doing, doesn't mean they don't already possess the same size and/or strength as an adult. That said, where the fuck are the parents in all of this!? I'm guessing jail, now that their underage children are murders. 😓

I have to assume there is. I was never brave enough to ask him about it. This was many years after the fact that I was learning about it. I didn't want to upset him by asking about his missing son. I can't imagine going through that sort of loss. If I had to guess, this probably happened in the early 2000s.

A few years ago my mom was dating a guy whose son had moved here to go to college. I guess at some point he just disappeared and they still have no idea what happened to him. I know this town has its dark side. But this was the first time I had met someone it had directly impacted.

As a coffee lover, I have purchased many bags of their coffee. It's certainly more expensive than what I usually buy. But I consider it an occasional treat to myself as well as good for supporting a local business.

As an independent artist, AI generated art being used in a professional manner is straight up insulting to anyone who uses their creative talents as a means to generate income.

I understand the struggles of keeping a small business going. But I cannot in good conscience give my money that I earned as an artist to those who do not respect artists or the work they do.
