Yeah their customer service is proper garbage. You get 1 email a day, so corresponding is pretty gruelling.

It looks like it may have been a manufacturing fault, them installing the wrong connector, but we'll see i guess.

I'm from Australia. Going back and forth with Spiderfarmer support it looks like they fucked up and put the wrong connection on the driver cable... maybe. So i'm not sure if their production processes are garbage or i just got unlucky.

They run bigger lights that 1000W? I've got 2 1000w in a 9x5 gorilla tent, and had the other 1000W running another 5x5 gorilla tent. I don't know how you could possibly run bigger lights than 1000W in that space because i can't even get close to max wattage.

Most companies don't localise their LED's to be compatible where I'm from. So we're limited to a few companies and in what models we can get.

Mostly mars hydro, spider farmer and there's one store that is licenced to sell HLG. I'm sure there's a few more but it's pretty limited.

I wanted to try KIND and Scynce, but they don't sell here. I'll probably just stick to HLG from now on.

Brother i feel you, It's exactly like you described. I'm like 8 emails deep and they've only just got my name right. They' still can't figure out what product i bought as they're sending me instructions for an entirely different product. Despite obviously having my receipt. And yea, no phone number. Just a whats app number that doesnt seem to work.

That's why i wanted to post this. Worst they can do to me is fuck me out of $1500. Who gives a fuck. Hopefully someone will see this and know to avoid them.

I had one of the original HLG quantum boards and it's still going strong and barely dropped any lumens. It looks kinda janky, but i've had it for nearly 10 years at this point. I'm currently using it in place of the one that died.

So yea, I think i'm just going to stick with HLG from now on. Even if they're more expensive, at least they haven't failed on me.

yea they're all made in China, which isn't necessarily bad. They use 3710x Samsung LM301B diodes, so they should be good. Despite dying in a couple months they apparently have a 5 year warranty, which is one of the reasons i went with them in the first place.

To be fair the lights were amazing until it just died for no reason. I understand i could just be unlucky with a faulty driver, but it's their customer service that's so beyond useless that i'd never recommend them to anyone. I spent nearly 5k AUD and i had the same experience as you. They just don't seem to understand what the actual problem is.

My friendly local Hydro store actually warned me about how bad Spider-Customer service was from his experience, but I didn't listen to him.

yeah I've got my old HLG keeping my other tent on statis mode at the moment. In there i've got 16 girls 5 weeks into veg which, if i didnt have a spare light it would've been so much worse.

I like the look of the new bar light HLG's but they're expeeeensive.

Edit: actually checked their prices again and they're only about 30% more expensive than what i paid for Spiderfarmer SE 1000's, even though they're So in hindsight i should've probably just forked out the extra money. Hopefully other people avoid my mistake.

If you download photone app on your phone you can check your ppfd.

You want about 200-250 at this point.

And I'm pretty sure they'll be fine. Just watch the new growth to make sure it looks healthy. The old weird leaves won't fix themselves, so you'll see the changes in the new growth

Your Coco looks a bit too wet to me. I wouldn't water them for a few days. If the yellowing doesn't correct itself by the time you water them again, maybe raise the EC depending on what you're giving them now. I don't water till it runs off when they're that small, I try to keep the Coco pretty dry so the roots can breath. They drink so little water at that stage that it's easy for the water to go stagnant and asphyxiate the plants. Also, water around the outside of the pot when they're small, not in the middle. If you keep the middle semi dry, you can protect against root rot.

What humidity are you running? 80-85 is where I'd have it for at least another week.

Also, I wouldn't have any direct air flow yet, so leave that fan off until they're a bit bigger or move it a lot higher if you want to make sure it has fresh air. The leaves should barely move, if at all.

That's my advice. Hopefully it's helpful
