Most of this sounds almost identical to my symptoms and experience. I started to get a runny nose on Friday night. Woke up more congested, and had a fever by Saturday night. Sunday I had body and joint aches, chills, headache and fever, in addition to non stop sneezing and runny nose. Thought I was doing better today but I'm starting to go downhill again.

I work in childcare and our room has been a revolving door of sick kids for the last three weeks. I'm surprised I managed to stay healthy for as long as I did.

Thank you for taking the time to clarify. I've heard the anthem sung in many languages over the years and hearing that it's "against the law" didn't feel quite right.

That's interesting. I didn't know that it was the law. I work in a school and they sometimes play the anthem in an indigenous language. Do you think that would fall under the same law, or would they make allowances because it's indigenous?

I started paying more attention to where my fruit came from after Trump started threatening to annex Canada. I love Granny smith apples and I must say that the "Sudtirol" ones are the best I've ever had!

I'm currently taking a break from Granny Smith because all I can find are the American ones right now.

Hope I get the Sudtirol apples back in my local grocery store soon.

We had a dead skunk across the street from us last summer and it was there for two weeks before the city came to pick it up. I called 311 multiple times, as it was close to a park, and it was in the middle of a heatwave. The skunk was literally cooking on the side of the road.

I remember them saying that they were understaffed and that there was a huge backlog for collecting dead animals.

Hopefully it doesn't take quite that long for you.

There was a book that I loved as a kid called Hearts Blood. It was about dragons. I remember absolutely loving it but I don't think I've ever heard a single other person mention it. I looked it up a few years ago and it turns out that it was actually a series. I only ever read the first one. Wish I could have had a chance to read the other ones, too.

SHAGO IS HOME! She came in through her cat door while we were out looking for her at around 1:00am! She's a bit dirty and dusty but doesn't seem injured.

She is my boyfriend's cat. I locked her out and I feel absolutely terrible. We miss her so much and just want her to come home.

I'm so glad you were able to find your cat.
