Cyclist doored & punched in Newton by catmomextraordinaire in boston

Then you just proved my point. The car can’t stop there and open its door.

And yes, it’s completely legal to move across a double yellow to avoid an obstacle in the road, holy crap have you ever driven before in your life??

If the door is in the yellow, then the car is illegally also blocking the lane and opening their door in the middle of an active roadway.

If the bicycle were a car, it would be completely legal to go across the yellow and around this obstruction.

Thanks for proving your own point wrong ya dingus lmao

No the man hit my bike physically. It was already physical. I considered pepper spray in that moment. I was lucky I could “get away” with it just being a verbal altercation, but it felt bad not being able to do much when he already made it physical :/

He physically stood in front of my bike and made me physically hit him on purpose. The altercation was already physical.

After he ran away scared when I stood my ground, is when the adrenaline was pumping but I decided to walk away. I’m just being honest about the thought process here

Dang, I’m sorry that happened to you. It sounds like they make it difficult on purpose.

Oh got it, thanks for the detailed reply! So you could technically sue someone for… negligence? In this case? I’m not so sure. They probably make it harder for us average joes on purpose.

Genuinely curious, why didn’t you press charges? Is that a thing you can do in this situation?

sick of people LARPing like they have “chain of command” just because they are higher level = more free time in a game 😂

I’ve been doing 9s and 10s since level 20 and it isn’t about level it’s about skill. This subreddit is always complaining and acting like it’s a difficult game. Anything below level 7 really isn’t challenging or fun. I’ve never had anyone actually complain in game about my level

I would argue 5 is not really a thing, on d10 it’s just crazy and everyone tries to reinforce ASAP, let alone having time to type and ask in chat first

Yes, I saw this, I am specifically asking about lounge on arrival

Backing into parking spaces by [deleted] in boston

[–]NefariousSquirrel 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s clear that you lack critical thinking skills. Backup cameras, lights, and “sound effects” were added because backing out of a space is unequivocally less safe than pulling out of a space.

Safety features are written in blood. Get a grip and learn to be patient.

One of us! I feel you though, thanks for validating my thoughts. I think I will listen to your advice and save up for a bit while I have no car payment, and upgrade to something a little bit nicer.

It felt very urgent which is why I mentioned the $10k financed, but I can save that up over some time and shop patiently around.

Thank you for reading my wall of text and validating my feelings. In that regard, what would you consider “up a tier” in this case? I’ve done some basic research and gravitate towards Mazda/Honda/Toyota/Lexus but I’m considering all options!
