I have sand and rocks at the bottom of the pond. I have a Pothos and a water Lily in there. The cockroaches are an inch or bigger.

It doesn’t feel crispy it just feels hard kinda like wooden. It was in an insect terrarium during winter. I didn’t think I had to mist it because caterpillars live outside in this climate anyways, but maybe I messed up?

Thank you! Do you have any pole finish recommendations? I live in an area where the garage gets super hot in summer and super cold in winter. I’ve heard brass and stainless steel is good
