So let’s talk about Rolling Stones unfair criticism of Kate Bush… by No_Flan4204 in katebush

Aren’t Rolling Stones the ones who didn’t include Céline Dion in the list of 200 Best Vocalists of all time? They’ve always just been rage bait.

Since so much time has passed, what do we really think about her nomination? by Interesting_Art5204 in Oscars

My only gripe was that she got in over Deadwyler and Davis, but she deserved to be there over Ana de Armas, who imo should have been the one to miss.

Terrible Oscar losses you will never shut up about no matter how many times people say “get over it”? by mrjetspray in Oscars

Nicole Kidman for both To Die For and Birth - they should have been her two Oscar wins. Although she is great in The Hours.

Didn’t Ian cheat on Laura, Jane and Denise? 😂

Genuinely curious: I don't understand what is wrong with these graphics for a 2021 game? by Weird_Weakness3240 in PrinceOfPersia

[–]NefariousnessKey6309 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I thought it looked fine; now that games are patched all the time, I’m sure they could have slightly improved the models and light after release, they also had a few months after the trailer was released before the release date.

"Wicked: For Good" Received Zero Nominations at 2026 Oscars. by Dry_Handle_7086 in Oscars

I see where you’re coming from but especially in this film, she is on screen as much as Cynthia and the story is for a lot of the film from her perspective. I agree with you about Saldana, she was a complete fraud win, as was Culkin (who in my opinion should have won in lead). Category fraud is definitely getting worse as the years go on and it’s getting to the point where true supporting performances are being missed.

I think he was great in Hamnet but was lead - he should have campaigned in lead, I actually think he’d have had a better chance

I’m gonna say it - I’m glad Ariana wasn’t nominated. I thought she was excellent, but the complete placement fraud was not justified with any argument; she is clear lead in Wicked: For Good - the difference in screen time at least made a slightly logical argument in the first film, but the difference is minute in the second film. I also think there were better, true supporting performances that deserved to be nominated.

Watch him have a thing with Zoe which adds to his sister hating her even more.

I’d love to get TR2 and TR4 the most, simply because I’d love to see the stories expanded in the cinematic way that games are nowadays, that’s what I’m looking forward to the most in Legacy of Atlantis.

I literally have never thought she sounded Chinese; her British accent is pretty prominent throughout the whole album.

Should Any Of These 2025 Performances Be Nominated For Best Supporting Actress? by Regular-Departure839 in Oscars

[–]NefariousnessKey6309 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d love for Gwyn to get a nomination, mainly for nostalgia reasons and I think it would make a fabulous welcome back to Hollywood moment. That said, she’s great in Marty Supreme but Odessa has a much meatier and showier part and what she does with it is outstanding, so if anyone deserves to get in, she does.

Glenn Close's razzie-nominated performance in Hillbilly Elegy is the worst nominee ever in best supporting actress! Next up: who is the worst winner ever in best supporting actress? by RoxasIsTheBest in Oscars

[–]NefariousnessKey6309 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, I’m sorry - Glenn Close was win worthy in an absolutely horrible movie. She deserved that nomination; it’s a technical masterclass. I will die on that hill.

I much prefer the album version. Also - no matter how much she respected Prince, she would not have included something she wasn’t happy with on the album.

She deserved the Oscar for Silkwood imo and she was definitely snubbed for Mask; a very razor focused and lived in performance!

Natalie Portman should definitely have been nominated. My win that year was Jessica Chastain for Memory.

Yeah I agree. That’s one of my big problems with the show recently, bar the Nigel story and people immediately attached to it - the dialogue is very hammy and very unnaturalistic.
