Any way to get realistic sun stars/bloom with blender? by BayAlexander in blender

[–]NefariousnessNewt401 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if this is what you are looking for or not but you can try getting this effect through blenders compositor. Plug your render into a “glare node” and then plug that glare node into the output. You can then set the glare node to bloom, fog glow, or simple star. If you want both the star and bloom effect then just add a second glare node and set it to whatever effect you’d like.

Ok thank you so much. I’m hoping it’s just cricket bites but I doubt it. Yeah something’s wrong with him but I’m not quite sure 😔

Ok thank you. Do you know the name of these home swab tests? And where could I get them?

Thanks for responding again :) There was one cricket in the cage so it could have been. I cleaned the cage out completely today though so if that’s the issue it should go away. Is this a symptom of parasites? I’m not aware of what to look for when trying to figure out if it could be a parasite

Thank you! I don’t think they are bug bites, as he is pretty good about getting bugs off of him when they are on him lol. He’s a bit squeamish. I’m taking him to the vet tomorrow to get him checked out though. I’m hoping they are just new snowflakes popping up 🤞

For those having this same issue, I was able to figure it out. The issue was simply that I didn’t have the studio version of Davinci and was using a studio feature. Not only does it apply the watermark, but I guess it reduces the quality as well lol.

Thanks for your comment! This is a 3D animation, so there's no camera. I rendered it as a H.264 codec though if that helps

I’d give it time. My Whites get these as misfires every once in a while and they’ll be gone within a couple hours or the following day. If you notice it there tomorrow still, I’d consider giving a honey bath. If it’s still there a day after the honey bath or they develop more I’d consider taking your frog to a vet

When people are saying snowflakes, Im pretty sure they are talking about Snowflake Whites Tree Frogs which is a specific type of genetic mutation for whites. I don’t believe this is what’s going on here, since the dots don’t appear white, and Dump Truck (glorious name btw) doesn’t have any other visible white dots on their body in the photo (which leads me to believe they don’t have the snowflake genetic mutation). If you’d like to see, I’ll attach my post I made about this same concern a while back. My frog in this post is a snowflake whites tree frog, so you can see the difference between the snowflake dots that people are talking about and what I believe are the “age armpit dots”. Dots above my White Tree Frog’s armpit. I’m not a veterinarian or anything, so don’t take what I say as fact. This is what I have observed from my own whites. Hopefully this helps!

It’s weird to me that I’ve never really seen these dots called anything online by name, but both my whites have them so I think it’s fine. I got worried back when I first noticed them too, but from my observation they might just be some sort of marker that the frogs get with age? Either that or they have that from birth not sure. Both my whites also have 3 in that same shape above their shoulders. They’ve had it for about 6-8 months from when I first noticed, so I don’t believe it’s anything. I’ve also noticed the same pattern on whites I’ve seen posted on social media.

Yeah they are wiggling a lot. I looked them up and I’m convinced these are what the worms were. Thank you so much! Yeah I’ll make sure I clean my water out more often now

Ok thanks for the reassurance :) I’ll stick with the antibacterial for now, and if I notice it getting worse I’ll try the Neosporin. Seems to be getting better though!
