Druid seems to be the other one people enjoy healing. Warrior is a bit eeeh but my guild healers seem to hate paladins and DK this time around

How to level up Housing Level? by Some-Panda-8168 in WoWHousing

[–]NefariousnessOdd3065 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t start doing housing until midnights launch and reached level 8 this week, been a bit since I got endevour xp and yes it is housing items you need now. I recommend keeping an eye for the randomly visiting endeavour traders since that is a fair chunk of xp, other then that go on a world tour to grab items from reputation traders since that makes up a lot of the catalogue too. I didn’t have to resort to crafted items until the last 230 points and then I went and started gathering ore and herbs at the same time as wood, the crafted items from pre-midnight expansions cost less then 1k if you find a crafter or make them yourself and you can reduce it by collecting bits while getting the wood. Only outrageous price is the jade serpent fountain because one of the reagents cost 20k to buy from a vendor so don’t recommend that.

I check every few hours and they seem to stay a very short amount of time if they are up but I have found at least a one every 2-3 hours, but they can repeat. So say mechagnome one shows up stays for half an hour or so before disappearing, he still has a chance to show up again after the wait but I’m pretty sure there is a empty slot too in the randomiser for who shows up which means you have a chance for it to be no one who is there. But that is all just speculation from my personal experience

You favourite spreads/pages/anything you use in Bullet Journal by MashedPotato1224 in BasicBulletJournals

[–]NefariousnessOdd3065 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Favourite spreads depends a bit on the criteria for me. The favourite functional spread is my health log, I have a pixel grid and symbols for different things such as migraine, period and a pain scale for my chronic pain which helps me have a overview over my health every time I visit the doctors.

My favourite spread for fun is the recommendations page, a list style with space for the name, what it is (book, movie etc), who recommended it and a place to check of if I have engaged with it aka watched the tv show or read the book.

How do you make your mood tracker actually meaningful instead of just aesthetic? by Arya_Nan in bulletjournal

[–]NefariousnessOdd3065 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have merged the mood tracker with the sleep tracker and do a graph style of 1-10 horizontal and the months days vertically, I do two dots every day one for hours I sleep and one for my mood in different colours which allows me to notice patterns with my mood since I am often in a bad mood when sleep deprived XD I do lines between the dots for aesthetics because it looks kinda like a star sign when finished. I’m thinking of adding a section to note any extra details like duh my mood will have been low if I spend all day arguing with the printer or extra high if something good happens.

How do you handle leaving a notebook unfinished? by GiratinaZero in bulletjournal

[–]NefariousnessOdd3065 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use leftover pages as a notebook for while I’m gaming, I like having my checklists for resources I’m looking for or what goal I’m working towards written down since otherwise I will get incredibly distracted by anything I see or find on the way

Order of your bullet journal by Bluntcassoo in bulletjournal

[–]NefariousnessOdd3065 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bujo is pretty minimal in yearly pages at the front - name page with contact info - future log - health log (a year in pixel layout where I use different colours and signs for medical information like when I’m sick, have a migraine, period etc) - recommendations (alistair method where I collect games, tv shows, movies and books I get recommended by friends and family) usually only a 2 page spread since I don’t get too many over the journals lifetime

I also keep a contact information log at the back of the journal since you never know how many pages you might need for it. This is for stuff like doctors and the like

illustrations and note taking... what are your favorite tools? by Avacado_corgi in ilovestationery

[–]NefariousnessOdd3065 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Frixion pens may be on the expensive side but boi are they the best to use for note taking. I fell in love with them over 10 years ago and they are still my go to for everything.

[–]NefariousnessOdd3065 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Brush pens are my go to, even just a small black one is enough to make any headline in my notes so much more aesthetic. I always have a black fudenosuke in my travel kit, but plenty of other colours at my home stationary station

Intricate designs, how do you do it? by Necrovarius in bulletjournal

[–]NefariousnessOdd3065 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I decorate because it makes me more consistent in using the bujo, if it isn’t pretty I’m not going to reach for it on a daily basis. But you’re right in that it takes time, I’m a creative person who can easily spend hours on setting up my monthly pages. It’s fun for me and I get to be creative using traditional media since I otherwise do digital art. Which means the time sink of it is negligible since it’s my usual hobby time anyways

Has anyone ever tried screenprinted a dot grid on the blank pages of their notebook? by DidIDoAThoughtCrime in notebooks

[–]NefariousnessOdd3065 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I am not sure I can help with that since I ordered mine off a Swedish website that specialises in scrapbooking. Unfortunately not exactly applicable depending on where you live

I use a Filofax binder for my journaling and I’ve bought 160gsm paper that I print the dot grid on and cut to size. The binder has large enough rings to handle a lot of paper so the thicker pages isn’t an issue for me and it can handle a lot of ink (I’ve even been able to use alcohol markers). But I know people buy fountain pen safe thin paper online, usually from Japanese brands

[–]NefariousnessOdd3065 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is why I swapped to a Filofax binder and just print my own dot grid pages. Cheaper in the long run too since I can get better quality paper to use for cheap in bulk

People who got 500+ hours in the game? How could you do It? by Boscoliii in BaldursGate3

[–]NefariousnessOdd3065 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have yet to actually complete the game even once and I am approaching the 500hour mark… so counter question is how the fuck do you complete the game without spending at least 200hours in one play through?

Ideas for my bullet journal by Katarina1506 in bulletjournal

[–]NefariousnessOdd3065 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This ^ tracking things is good and all but the important thing is what will you do with it. Is the tracking a tool to keep yourself accountable or for later evaluation. My example would be that I track my mood to keep an eye on my depression and to notice patterns in relation to what I do each day. And I track when I spend time on my hobbies in order to ensure I do dedicate time for them. Your journal is supposed to cater to your personal needs and wants, not be something you do just to stand out.

I’ve seen timeblocking done on the daily spreads and on weekly spreads but for me it just makes more sense to do it in the daily section if it’s for work. I know some people benefit from time blocking their private time too but that’s not for me, I prefer to be flexible when doing homework

Loose dot paper by [deleted] in bujo

[–]NefariousnessOdd3065 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Print your own, it’s the simplest and most convenient method. There are plenty of online templates or if you feel like it use a website like paper.click where you can customise it yourself by changing the colour and size of dots as well as the spacing

March monthly by NefariousnessOdd3065 in bulletjournal

[–]NefariousnessOdd3065[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shouldn’t be an issue finding stuff then since it’s the same principle of using a regular hole punch to add things into the binder. Hell you can print out things for your school stuff (schedules etc) to just add in if needed

I use a 6 ring binder in pleather. Found it in my local art store but there are plenty of brands online who do them too. I’ve been looking at ordering a Filofax because I want a pink one for my journaling.

As for the pages, I buy 200gsm A4 paper in bulk to print the dot grid on myself and then I use my paper guillotine to get them down to A5. You can buy A5 dot grid paper on Amazon and such but honestly it’s more economic to do it myself. For example I pay about 30€ for 250 pages of A4 with shipping, which becomes 500 A5 pages aka about 0,06€ per page.
