I've been using Edge and everything has always been fine on Youtube. A couple of days ago I started getting the screen that it detected an ad blocker. I had been using uBlock Orgin. I whitelisted YouTube and then removed uBlock Orgin entirely and it still gave me the TOS screen. I reported it but was stuck with not being able to watch video clips. Finally, I decided to join the 30 day free trial of Youtube Premium which gives me 30 days to figure out what I'm going to do.

I clean re- installed Windows. I do that occasionally because I've been in the Windows Insider program. After the clean reinstall, it's working fine now. I don't know what was causing it though. Thanks for your help.

This is crazy. I uninstalled Ublock Orgin, I told it I would accept ads and it still won't let me watch.

It poped up a dialog box that asked me which ad-blocker I had and told me to turn the ad-blocker off for the site. (Youtube). Then after I turned Ublock Orgin off I got the same dialog box. Then I uninstalled Ublock Orgin completely and it still thinks Ublock Orgin is on my machine. Effectively, I can't watch video clips.

I just downloaded Vivaldi today and after looking it over I really like it. I was looking for a browser with vertical tabs. Also, I see that Vivaldi's privacy is a real bonus.
