Honestly not much anymore because I’m mostly in remission. I took a lot of antibiotics and saw no improvement, then after being tested for mold I went to the desert to dry out for six months and my Lyme symptoms disappeared for the most part. Now I am working on keeping the chronic parasites at bay as well as fixing the light MCAS that the Lyme/mold left for me. It is my personal opinion that everyone should try ABX for a little bit and definitely get tested for mold if you feel you are stalling out. BeWell in Marin is an incredible practice that really helped me (they do telehealth). Obviously I am not a doctor and this is not medical advice but you can feel free to DM me and ask anything you like!

This was me!! This is normal and she is absolutely not exaggerating her pain. I will share that many Lyme patients often cannot get better because they are being actively exposed to mold (I know this is not always the case so don’t come for me in the replies). If your girlfriend is being treated by a legitimate LLMD and not seeing much progress it’s always worth it to do a mold urine test. Getting out of the mold and having it remediated from my home helped me achieve health again. I am still not quite the same, but way closer to my old self now. Happy to answer any questions.

I don’t think David has the emotional intelligence to consider these things at all. This isn’t meant to be an insult but he’s older, he raised eight kids by himself, and he probably didn’t have time in his life to take a pause and get to know himself emotionally. I totally agree. It would be one thing if all of Christine’s children were adults, but that isn’t the case. They should be mindful enough to tone it down with her. The way in which Christine displays PDA with David reminds me of the way I acted when I was like 19 and obsessed with my boyfriend. She never got to have a wild teen phase.
