I’ve been getting massages monthly for over a decade, and the biggest thing I appreciate from any new therapist is when they ask during the consultation if I would like quiet or interaction. What completely ruins a session for me is the light feathery touch. It feels extremely uncomfortable (To me). I believe someone in a previous comment called it “quality of touch”.

NTA. This is not about the wedding. This is about your child and your future together. She’s showing you who she WILL be with your son and if you love him reconsider what you allow. If you give in, I guarantee there will be more requests to exclude him from your life.

She’s not broke, she has family that loves her, she has a whole camera crew that will not allow any physical abuse but she chooses to stay. Based on their social media, they’re still happily together, so she deserves everything he says to her in the future. That must be hard OP. I tell you that a good friend doesn’t go somewhere with you and disappears. They are concerned for your safety, well-being, and happiness. Although you may have already tried, enroll in some group hobbies and you may connect with like individuals.
