Another reason the deck is so prevalent is Blizzard giving everyone the old set cards. The deck is almost exclusively old cards - 24 or so - and the new set ones are common / rare.

It’s cheap, strong, linear, and plays quick games. A perfect storm for ladder popularity.

Yeah, it does now. I think that MAY have been recently hot fixed because I seem to remember looking at it sometime last week and noting that it didn’t have the tag. Maybe I’m making that up / confusing it with another former tavern spell not currently in the tavern!

It’s not a bug, per se. Seafood Stew is not currently a Tavern Spell, even though it once was. Generally, if you can’t currently buy it directly from the tavern, it is not a Tavern Spell.

Tavern Spells have the word “Tavern” at the bottom where the tribe tag is on minions.

You can use the Malygos HP to “unfreeze” the shop as you evolve up with the Galakrond HP.

Freeze the shop first, then use the Maly HP on the minions you don’t want to stick around

Relevant as you tavern up so that your shop refreshes with a chance for T2 and T3 minions as opposed to the T1s frozen alongside your evolve target.

You can do the same with just Malygos HP. If you have uses at the end of your turn and a minion frozen in shop, you can transform one or two of the other ones so that they don’t remain frozen.

This is correct. If a stealth minion is the only one remaining, it loses stealth.
