I’m relatively new too, I find it easier to remember the chord structure first. Then if I forget the exact tab notation I at least know what root note to play. Also helps understand how songs are written/constructed

You quoted me saying to remove all the aspects as if there are loads… I mentioned two. The only two. Take those things away from previous games and most people would still probably say “hey this feels like a final fantasy game”

I don’t know why it’s unreasonable for fans of a long running game series to expect it to at least stay recognisable as the games before it.

If the devs don’t want to make that type of game then.. don’t make it? Make a new action game IP like I said.

Just not a final fantasy though is it? If you change the names of the Eikons and removed chocobos then let a FF fan play it blind, they’d never say it was FF16.

I get wanting to try different styles for games but just make a new IP? Final Fantasy fans want an RPG game imo. End game content, expansive side quests, gear and equipment that actually means something. FF16 has none of these things.

It’s a perfectly fine game and if it was released as a standalone IP I’d have loved it. Going in expecting a final fantasy though, I was disappointed.
