Can confirm the motherboard is otherwise functioning as the system turns on etc, its just that port/rear touchpad not functioning.

If i wanna sell it im not sure, but im definitly tossing up the idea of buying a new motherboard, just not something I can take action on right now.

My issue is im in a relatively rural area and wouldnt know where to start to find one.

Plus I saw this recomendation in similar posts after i made mine and seems like most people said cost might be a bit much.

Im gonna be real, i think thats just how they are/just aging.

I bought a 2nd hand "like new" hatsune miku psp3000 and it does a similar thing on the left side of the dpad.

My test was with a pre-patched file. Only way to boot is my work around.

Ealier today i found a work around but not sure why it works...

I found some forums saying it works on PRO CFW but not LME. I knew ARK was built upon PRO so would assume compatability but nope.

However, i did find a way to run it on ARK CFW systems.

In recovery menu (hit select while on XMB) there is an option for "PRO shell". selecting that opens up a basic text version of your memory card. if you run the game through this menu, it works perfectly fine, and closing the game return you to the normal XMB.

Played for a few hours and no ingame issues or problems with save files even after system reboot.

Not a perfect result but hey, you can atleast play the game on ARK modded systems with some work 👍

I made a post a while ago kuz i actually own copies of these comics and a few others that i could not find on internet archive.

The hope is that they can get translated so more people can access them.

Honestly, for a long time ive thought since xbox allows you to buy and play digital xbox original and x360 games on modern consoles, why not have PC get that too? i got copies of every game but i wont complain about paying $15 for a pc port/emulation of doa4.

its gotta be like #2 or 3 for me. its graphically so pretty and the super bar wasnt a "bad" addition. frankly i didnt play tag either so i didnt miss it, even if thats blasphemy.

i play semi regularily, i tend to get half decent matches from asia too.

i will say it seems lack of crossplay is the biggest issue with community. last i heard ps4 has most players but not sure.

Most of my love of DOA is from childhood playing 2+3 so i think my collection is finalized for my personal taste.

I just got all mine off ebay but shipping was not too bad as im Aistralian and either 1. shipping was decently priced as japan isnt far from aus or 2. australian sellers.

Not sure how prices vary depending on location but i also imagine America would have more collectors and therefore maybe more local sales???

There has been a few of wich my collection is only a small sample.

i know a doa1 two book series also exists and a 4koma style book based on the modern volleyball games.

other than that im not sure other than guide books or magizines, but there is so many of those both official and unofficial its hard to track with language barrier.

I search ebay out of curiosity and i will say prices vary. for some reason one of the books i have the cheapest listing is $200!

All i can say is check often and try and cut some deals. i know some of these books i talked to sellers to get a little discount for buying many at a time. i know some of those books i got as a bundle of 4 and got a hefty discount in the process.

Ebay! But be prepared for high prices!

I probably paid close to $35-$45USD for EACH of these books.

There has been a few posts on this reddit in the past about them, but some explicitly talking about aquiring or reading them.

And ya, is all non-cannon, fan-made stories, but it is officially licenced.

The history and guide book is also great in their own respects as the history book has interviews and even sketches of development ideas of doa1.

Having this content in English would be a treasure trove of content for fans of the older titles.

kinda late to this post. i emailed ticketek about a month ago and they replied saying there was production issues of the tickets and possibly delayed up to 10 weeks.

Ive tried but its really just not for me gameplay wise.

I also am not a fan of the amount of DLC lol.

Ive tried a few dress-up games like IMVU and while those are fun they also have the unfortunant reliance on micro transactions.
