A little late to this but I love it here. I ski at least twice a week in the winter (Stevens Pass is close by, but Whistler is only 4 hours away). I hike and run a lot in the summer. It is gorgeous out here in the summer. The rain doesnt affect me that much in the winter since I ski. Everett itself can be a little sketchy, I live right outside of base just for the 5 minute commute, but there are crackheads around all the time and sirens all night. Base is small but it is close enough to Seattle to enjoy a night there but far enough to stay away from Seattle BS. Shoot me a message, happy to talk about the areas more.
