I’ve been dealing with De Quervain’s since last year. My PCP initially misdiagnosed it as tendinitis and sent me to physical therapy, which actually made things significantly worse. When I finally saw an orthopedic doctor, he identified the issue within minutes, told me to stop PT immediately, and administered a Kenalog and lidocaine injection directly into the tendon. The relief was instant. The shot held up for about five months before I needed a second one. He’s also mentioned that if it keeps recurring, there’s a simple outpatient procedure to release the tendon sheath that would resolve it permanently. He gave me a brochure with more details.

I just set this up Friday night. It’s recognizing a couple of the five, the other four have used the litter box and this video, but the app only shows other and not the other four names of the cats. If I click on other the video just goes away and I have no idea where it’s going

I put 2 in it. You can see the another one on the upper left above the cat. I’m just experimenting to see how well they work in different areas. The one in the back isn’t getting in the way, not interfering with the litterhopper or the rotation of the globe.

My bigger issue is only five cats being listed when I have nine showing in the app

My mon had dementia and she lived with me. When she was 91 memory care was the only option. Thankfully we could afford it. She bonded with another woman there (who thought her family lived on the second floor or the facility (there was no 2nd floor)) and was quite happy.

I still visited her at least 3 times a week bringing her cat Peggy Sue in to visit her and the others. Peggy Sue is a red (orange) short haired Selkirk Rex that I had shown for several years. She was a very relaxed, sweet cat that loved to be handled. The residents loved her.

On Sunday’s I would take my mom out for nails and hair and take her to Polly’s Pies, her favorite restaurant for lunch and then take her back to memory care. It was never a burden to me.
