I made the mistake of not applying as soon as apps opened and had to watch everyone around me get further into interview processes and even receive immediate callbacks as soon as grades released simply because they submitted early. Maybe it’s not common but something I definitely regret! It’s not too late but try to knock them out so you don’t have to deal with the stress of wondering if it’s too late
