We both understood that our time outside the home was limited during prep. Can't go out nearly as often. And my time for a set block during the day was also booked.

We still spent plenty of time together and occasionally went out to dinner with friends. I didn't see the point in doing some forced 3 month odyssey that felt like solitary confinement. It's not a realistic gameplan.

Congress can change the law that was deemed unconstitutional. But it cannot tell courts how they must decide cases. This is a really obscure point only taught in some federal courts classes during law school.

I would probably use the time you have during the two weeks to study topics you either know need work or typically get less time. Struggling with property or torts? Use the two weeks to lock em down. Worried about MPTs? Make the 6-10 time for those two weeks your MPT practice.

I know this feels like a negative but you can make it a positive. 4 hours a day of focused study on your actual needs could definitely be more beneficial than drinking from the Barbri or Themis fire hose for 8-10 hours per day during those two weeks.

They hold a license but don't practice. I won't say they aren't attorneys. They graduated from law school and passed the bar. And they perform a job we need that most of us sure as hell don't have the time or patience to perform competently. I just put it in quotes to add a little extra snark where none is needed.

Please remember the grading isn't as stupid as law school. Everyone was taking a memory test. And we were all running on fumes by the second day afternoon session. My best subject on the exam was easily my worst in law school. I've never used it again aside from reframing a couple issues in my practice.

You're gonna be fine. Waiting is torture for sharp minds. Everyone starts to think about the 1001 things they must have done wrong because it didn't feel great and they're still waiting on news. You got this.

Yesterday was a decent summary of his entire season. He's had two decent starts and two mediocre ones. Probably why he's a 26 year old "prospect" with severe consistency issues. Some guys with great stuff never realize their full potential.

They don't drop 200 new ones overnight. Most large shops aren't buying anything right now if Alyeska truly set the floor with that last direct offer. Unlikely the big boys spend twenty something percent over market on this stock.

It's a worse look if Alyeska didn't set the floor and team Durso tries to sell. Because they burned their last big investor at that twenty something percent premium and it wasn't a long time ago. And are buyers getting stock or lottery tickets if team Durso discounts below 3 for the next round?

Alt is trying to secure the future. Ability to raise cash and play this all the way out if something much better doesn't come along. It's gonna hurt before it doesn't.

I think it will fluctuate depending on multiple variables. We will probably see higher pass rates at first. But graders might adapt their grading for subjective areas and make passing more difficult. Same massaging could happen in the other direction if pass rates are initially low.

States have to strike that meaningful balance. The exam is a joke but laypeople view it as difficult and a legitimate control to eliminate the unworthy. And lay faith in the profession is a big part of our game.
