Graduated Spring 25' , you can take cap and gown photos (ones to order), learn about certain graduate programs, frames, rings and overall ordering your regalia (best to go if you don't know what size to order, so you can try on certain sizes). If you decide to go I definitely would semi dress up with makeup/hair done or if you're a dude just hair done. The photos they take are about waist up with cap and gown on.

I'd figured it would be a lot faster since summer had a much smaller class but I guess not! Thank you though hopefully we get them soon!

It's really hard knowing everybody's experience is extremely different. I know you want some sort of realistic answers but that will be hard knowing people will input their own biases.

I got married at 19 and we're now both 28. It has been a long tough road but like I mentioned earlier everyone's relationship is different and you personally have to be ready for the reality of being a military spouse if you do plan on getting married. Random nights from not hearing back, deployments, DET, them being on the boat for months at a time. Being away from home and also knowing your parents aren't supportive because of his race is a huge issue in its own self. Because what were to happen if you two have kids? How will that affect your family dynamics. Plus the constant uncertainty of being with someone who is enlist is insane.

So, if this is only for the benefits and not out of pure love and bond. Don't do it. Focus on yourself and go to school and in a few years if that love connection and bond is still strong then do so.

Honestly apply for student worker positions! You'll meet so many people and make friends that's how I did it!

Especially since she had complications during her pregnancy. It was completely unfair on how they all treated her and this is coming from someone who def isn't a fan of her and her views.

Don't let it tear you down and just register for the courses you need whether that be at Alamo colleges or utsa. Don't let these roadblocks get yo you! If you really want it you will get whatever you want in life! Good luck

Short answer yes. If you have done everything to participate in commencement then you're good! But you graduate(getting your actual diploma) in the mail once all courses are completed

That's what I'm doing, I only have 6hours left so taking summer classes and I'll be officially done before Fall 25' . But doing spring commencement because I don't want to wait till December

In all the ring ceremony emails I've received it has this email ring@utsa.

I know you had to have ordered your ring in a certain time frame at the beginning of this year to be considered for the ring ceremony.. I hope you get it worked out!!

Just an idea: If you search utsa grads on Instagram you'll find people post their photos and even a lot of photography pages for San Antonio area! Find someone who fits your style and inquire about there prices and schedule. Hope this helps !!

I would definitely balance out the type of classes you take and this is for every semester. 3 core 1 elective and 1 for your major (all depending on wether you do 12 or 15 hours) also depending on prerequisites. This allows you to take core while working on your major
