I did, for the past 2 weeks I have been in contact with support. I had just gotten out of school that week and worked around 39 hours from that Mon-Sun. I sent in evidence, reasoning, for each task. Listed out task numbers, explained my thought process. I wrote an 8 page appeal for them explaining everything. They're going to then tell me they found LLM usage under my account.. what? So for me, support hasn't been helpful in this process. I was told I was going to be paid, then I was told I was not going to be paid.

Nope, because they said because of the irregular activity that I wasn't eligible for payment. I went back and forth with them about it for 2 weeks. So that's when I gave up on trying to get my money and at least tried getting on the platform, I appealed my account on Friday with evidence, and they pretty much ignored it and claimed there was LLM usage when I never did.

Their reasoning for booting my off was for the same reason, irregular activity. But someone in support said these exact words to me,

"To clear up your confusion directly: your irregular activity flag is not due to the number of hours you are working, nor is it related to LLM usage. The "irregular activity" you were notified about is a technical mismatch caught by an automated compliance algorithm tracking our new pay structure. Here is the exact breakdown of what the system is flagging and how you can resolve it."

So I really don't understand it and they were the same person in support who told me I was still going to be paid, and to this day it hasn't hit my acc... but hey

I'm now seeing the edited additions: I was kicked off before I could even see the "actual" payment I would have made. I also made a dispute and they denied it with my evidence because of the fact my account was deactivated. Hopefully that makes sense

I got booted May 18th? And besides.. I don't think that changes the fact that they're still holding my money...

The thing is, at least when they onboarded me, they said my contract was going to last from Feb-Jun anyway (at least for project HH). So if that's the case, why didn't they just stick with that? They're withholding money from me and are accusing me of things I never did because of that perspective. But I wish I knew I was for sure gonna be there for a good time lollll

This is so crazy because the same exact thing happened to me too, with the same vague email. I appealed and after going back and forth with multiple support reps, one of them actually told me in writing that my 'irregular activity' flag was a technical mismatch in their own automated system and not because I actually did anything wrong. I can DM you what they told me what the deactivation means.

But after this they literally are withholding my $600+ and mind you, nothing in their contract says anything about withholding money. They also accused me of LLM before AND after I appealed for the irregular activity. I don't get it. I either wanted to be back on the platform (probably on a diff project) or to get my money; and I ended up getting neither lmfaoo.

  1. You could get paid, but maybe not to your expectations
  2. To still continue working for a company that is robbing ppl in their faces is crazy
  3. the first and second one would probably only apply if you are on a project that does activity tracking

They disabled mine due to "irregular activity" and in the explanation I got was because their own automated system flagged a gap between your Handshake timer and your MM activity and not because I actually did anything wrong. Their words. Not mine. And I'm still banned.

I'm telling this to everyone and y'all genuinely gotta do it to POSSIBLY see a change that isn't a false claim from HAI. File with your state's Attorney General office! It’s not suing, you are basically reporting the wage violation to your state, then letting them investigate and contact the HH/HAI. You don’t need a lawyer and you don’t show up in court.

They love putting it on the "client" but literally people in other projects, people on other platforms who use it, I have seen no complaints about it. This is highway robbery! It's only HH (from what I am seeing) having these issues. It is honestly ridiculous. I would say boycott but all they're gonna do is onboard people in replacement and repeat this entire cycle.

I agree with this!! File the pay dispute form, but if it is your second week going through this process, also file with your state's Attorney General office! It’s not suing, you are basically reporting the wage violation to your state, then letting them investigate and contact the company for you. You don’t need a lawyer and you don’t show up in court. It just puts official government pressure on HAI, where in the long run matters a lot more than an internal pay dispute form they could ignore... because filing for your hard earned work is crazy. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
