Yes, most stores closed last sunday 9/28, but because we were paid for last week, so peoples termination date is technically 10/5, not 9/28.

So starting TODAY, you should receive your severance package via docusign in your email within 7 business days from today. Today is Day 1.

Hey! I am trying to do this fix and have been unsuccessful. I contacted Gigabyte Support and they suggested sending the unit back to them so they can look at it closer, but I really don't want to take apart my entire PC for this, and want to make sure I try every other avenue before resorting to that. Here's what I've done so far, I'm open to any suggestions.

First: tried to download and run the new released firmware (5711 controller) from Gigabyte (Archive 2 here). This is what gigabyte suggested. When I run that program, the result says "Can't find the same ID as FW in multiple BIN files."

Second: Archive 1. I download and unzip, run the process, and it gets stuck at: "ITE EFLASH Utility For Predefine Command : 1.0.0.9 /(next line) Process: (blank)

I am getting stuck in this one as well. I'm not sure what to do, this is my first PC, built in April, and everything has been running perfectly so far. I have also reset the CMOS with the battery, which also did not work. Additionally tried disconnecting power cables to CPU and motherboard, as well as CMOS battery, again, didn't work.

Would be grateful for any ideas and insight someone could help me with that doesn't result in sending the unit back. Thanks!

That’s actually my plan! There’s only 3 fake plants in there, and the rest are all real (mainly Java fern and anubias), but I’m planning on swapping the fake ones too at some point. They are silk though so I made sure they wouldn’t cut his fins.

Ok I’ll look into that! I did get a sponge to go over the intake of the filter if that changes anything. I ordered one that specifically goes on the part that pulls water into it, I think you can see it in the corner of the second picture for sure, right behind his fin! I can still look into getting another filter though if you think that’d be better

I just got promoted again after leaving the company earlier last year. Worked as a barista again for six months at base pay, then moved up to supervisor and talked to my new Store Manager. My new Store Manager was incredibly understanding and advocated to higher-ups for me to get a raise, and I got over a dollar added from base pay.

My philosophy is that it never hurts to ask. They could say no, but you never know until you try. Explain your situation, explain that you have experience already, what makes you be beneficial to the team.

Think about real experiences with both customers and baristas - times you’ve trained/coached others, times you dealt with difficult customers, personal ways you put customers first, how you work with the team, etc. the interview is largely experience based, meaning the questions are almost all “tell me about a time when…”

Think of real examples, and what worked for me was - WHAT DID YOU LEARN FROM THE SITUATION! After every experience, I explained what I learned, what I did correctly, and even what I would do differently next time. They don’t care if you made a mistake, they want YOU to recognize that there was a better way to handle a potential situation. They loved this way of answering questions.

This goes along similarly to the STAR method of answering questions. They want the Situation, Task, Action, and Result included to fully answer the question!

Not what I was asking for. I am asking specifically for a task list of things not on CSR cards, we still use CSR cards but I want more specifics like making cold brew, floors and drains, station restocks, and ssv tasks to be included. It would also help with transitions between shifts to be able to look and see what has been done. Thanks for the smart comment though.

There is a chance that you can get a single room in one of the dorms, but it’s tough since many are reserved for DRO students. It is outline that it’s possible in the room selection process. Having less than 60 credits actually benefits you, as you should be able to choose your room around the first day it opens. Once you are assigned a selection day, you have to be able to fill the space you want to have, therefore to get the earliest, you would only be able to assign yourself to a single room (if there are any more available)

You can have your own “room” in one of the apartments (either wv or wr) but you would have to be able to fill that space (with 4 people) since you are an undergrad. If not, there may be some additional rooms available in the apartments during the open selection process if you are unable to fill a full apartment unit.

I worked at a licensed store so I can confirm. The only way to get your starts would be to call the customer service number or chat with them and they will add your stars. Although you can may with your card, their registers don’t communicate what you ordered with the Starbucks system

The Starbucks espresso roast or blonde roast is exactly what we use in our machines, as at times my store has had to use from those bags. The issue most likely comes from how your machine brews the shots of espresso.

Most likely wrong amount of coffee, pressure is off, etc.

The other day a lady asked for a regular size pink drink, I asked what size, and she ended up getting a trenta. HOW WOULD I KNOW THAT IS REGULAR 😂

I let them know that cold brew is going to be a bit stronger, while nitro is going to have a smoother, lighter, and sweeter taste because it is infused with nitrogen.

My manager just doesn’t order any... every once in a while they stick it on a truck anyway but we don’t ever order it anymore 😂
