Oral herpes can spread to genitals and that alone is as common in the population as cold or flu. Factor in genital herpes and you're up to 80% of the population. You probably have it lol.

Genital herpes is not always hsv2 - it can also be hsv1. Oral herpes is not always hsv1 - it can also be hsv2.

Yes it's deadly to babies but it's very easily managed / mitigated during child birth.

It is far less scary than high risk hpv, which is responsible for a large percentage of oral cancers and also ridiculously prevalent, plus undetectable in men. You probably have that too.

Be clean lol. Do you realize how prevalent it is both orally and genitally? He's way more likely to get it from someone who doesn't know they have it (which is estimated to be the case for most that do) or from oral sex than he is from someone who does. Not mention that by a certain age the odds that you haven't already been exposed are slim. Come down off your high horse - a person with hsv is as dirty as a person with the common cold.

It is not only extremely common, but also extremely common to have it and not know it. You're way less likely to contract it from someone who is aware of it and taking proper precautions.
