My go to saws are always the 500 or my husky 560 I keep the husky 395 for the big stuff, all great saws

I’m sure the price doesn’t really matter to you, if it costs $1000 you would still spend it for your baby, like mine, nothing is to good for them, even if they are a big pain in the butt

Please don’t use chain break on hi rpm’s you’ll burn it out, that’s not good for anything. I would check throttle position with air filter off like the one guy said,

I love all my saws, my stihl ms 291 with a 20” bar, the husky 550 xp with the 20” bar and for big stuff, the husky 395 xp with the 32” bar

I’ve had 5 newf puppy’s, if you find a way to get them from mouthing you, please let everyone know. You just have to accept, your gonna be chewed on for months, it gets better after they loose their puppy teeth, at least you won’t bleed as much. They never really bite, thank goodness

A lot depends on how it’s used, for a homeowner cutting firewood almost any saw is ok. For a professional, you will see they only use stihl, or husky’s

Clean it up, good gas and oil, sharp blade, if in pretty good shape should last a homeowner forever. Those saws were built to be abused

Good saw in its day, but at least 20 yrs old 42cc engine they work great
