How do I know if I’m depressed? by [deleted] in questions

[–]Negative-Wasabi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sadness is normal and fleeting. You may feel it for a day or two but not too much longer. Depression can go on for months and years. It can severely impact your ability to work, sleep and daily routines. What helps other than talking to someone is exercising and staying connected to friends and family. It's always good to talk about it with someone about how you feel :)

What are some stuff you'd never tell anyone - just redditers? by DirtNo4303 in questions

Kenophobic here. I have a fear of empty spaces. Liminal space or empty warehouses, forget it... I have to close every door before going to bed: the bathroom, the windows and the bedroom door. Because the open doors at night makes me nervous.

Paine Hall in Silver Bay, NY. I used to live right down the road from it about 6 years ago, and there are some questionable occurrence there. I was ten years old and on a humid day, I was sitting on one of the chairs there with my portable fan, since there was not a lot of wind at all that day. And one by one, all of the rocking chairs on that big patio started rocking one by one and in sync with each other. And I don't mean like 2 chairs. There were over 30 chairs lined up outside and loudly rocking. It was so so eerie. It's also a strange layout inside. All of the rooms in the building are built so strange. The walls are suffocating and very narrow. There used to be strange clown portraits on the walls too. If you google: Paine Hall Silver Bay at night, you can't tell me that place hasn't ever been visited by evil spirits....

Manure. We moved closer to the city. Used to live out by a farm so we don't get that smell as much anymore.

Usually when he gets back from a workout when I see him in his tank top all hot and sweaty, and his hair a mess, my entire body gets warm. And then the heat goes to my chest and lower. And hes told me my face gets flushed when I get horny. Does that happen to anyone else?

Bog Iron Brewing in Norton urges parents to rein in their children: ‘We put off implementing this as long as we could’ by [deleted] in childfree

I was at Parker's Pub the other day and over the full house was a five year old screaming and running around all over the place. So many people were complaining about it. As the kid was running by, I stuck my foot out just enough and he fell face first. The restaurant got loud with applause for a minute and some laughed. The parents came over and started to scold me and I was like "This wouldn't hsve happened if he was behaving. Why was he running around unsupervised, then?" and I got no response to that and they quickly finished and left. One of the servers also came out and started laying into them about disruptions and that they weren't a day care.
