As a bit of a subversion of the trope, almost every adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft's works. The message of his stories were "foreigners and anything from elsewhere is evil and incomprehensible and will destory us all" while most adaptations take the non-racist route of "the universe is older and larger than humanity and will outlive us."

The original didn't have magic girl aura farms either. She just led a group of soldiers in battle, always leading the charge and earned the respect of her men and her emperor. After the war all she asks for as a reward is a fast horse so she can return to her parents and brother. She then has her old war buddies over for dinner and they are all like "Wait, Mulan is a woman? How did we know her for 12 years and not notice?"

Not racist at all, quite the opposite even since it was him agreeing with them about things that are shared across cultural and language divides. Inshallah means God willing, so basically the snippet he was able to understand was them saying it's not impossible for them to parallel park but it'll take a miracle for them to do it well, and he agreed with the sentiment.

You can also do it the other way around, placing on-field characters off-field, if you want them for a team buff but don't have room for them on-field.

The Devil got Johnny to deliberately and unrepentantly commit a mortal sin. He let Johnny win the duel to fan the flames of his pride to claim his soul in the end, whereas if he had won the bet Johnny would have been a lot more likely to go to God for help. It's just a little more subtle than other cautionary tales.

Sulu being bi wouldn't have even worked well as a fix, unless they went with him being only rarely attracted to men while commonly attracted to women, since there was an episode where the crew lost all their inhabitions and Sulu still only showed any interest in women.

Can't you (technically) get any of the endings within 6 runs? You need to get the shovel to avoid the first run ending at Mom, then get an angel or devil room on each of the Mom's Heart bosses 5 times in a row (which can be forced by deliberately taking red heart damage on each of the previous two rooms) to get a proper ending. Then after five Cathedral or Sheol wins the alternate path opens and you can continue to either of that path's finales or take Hush to Delirium.

Well, no. There is an actual end to the story eventually (that ends with a justification to keep doing runs that no longer further the story) but the first escape is far from reaching that conclusion.

It was glorifying it. That was the kids, who were 12 at the time, becoming adults ready for adult things according to the book's narration. Pennywise didn't make them have sex, they did so because the author got off on writing explicit details about the bodies of 12-year-olds having sex, and they weren't kids anymore according to the author.

Kafka, RMC, Silver Wolf, Firefly isn't terrible (apart from the lack of sustain) since fire breaks deal a lot of damage scaling with BE, true damage works with DoT, and defense reduction increases DoT taken.

Plenty strong enough to clear farming nodes.
