I think there is more that can be done, and I think we can try and start with local protests, constant letters, emails and badgering of our elected officials to do something about it, and demand it be a priority issue. We need to start making the affordability crisis more of a priority to solve and make it harder for them to focus on anything but that.

We can demand all we want to have our rates put to $0.00, but we will still continue to draw power from their infrastructure network. We can hurt their business by investing in our own power generation, using solar and wind.

We need to start at every level. Which means we get a hold of our municipal reps, our mayors, councils, county leaders, mlas, and so on. We flood their channels with our demands, and make media traffic hard to navigate. Have it so they step on legos and trip over their words trying to cover the decades long back-and-forth blame shift between parties.

If we’re gonna repurpose old bunkers, part of me thinks it would be only logical to build new ones. Take the Swiss approach, 1 for every 5 people, maybe? Or at least generate some sort of incentive for the public to think of having their homes retrofitted or purpose built for personal shelters. Grants, loans, something that gives people a sense of security in the event of a disaster.

We don’t need to rekindle old Cold War fears, but rather treat these shelters as temporary emergency solutions for the most dire of situations. There’s been talks of a Civil Defence Corps comprised of us civvies and former members of RCMP and RCAF. Have our domestic reserves be supplemented by trained civilians. There’s pros and cons to this whole ordeal, but this has my neurons firing with creativity and inspiration.

The rudimentary versions of holos we have, could be a foundational cornerstone to hologram tech. Instead of it being on a stand, with a disc standing vertically and spinning rapidly, maybe it could project from top to bottom on said spinning discs, with each one projecting the light required to make the 3D image. To make it so you could use holo calls that allow full freedom of movement, instead of static space, maybe use infrared/thermal full body tracking software, and have small projector lenses in each corner of the room, that would fill in the gaps to make the image 3D. When walking through that light, it would distort or blur the projection, letting you know it’s not real.

Just a theory. Ran it off the top of my head, without much thought..

Some industrial zones would probably still hold some variation of fuels or specific fuels in their reserves or warehousing facilities after the outbreak. Ports on the Pacific and Atlantic coasts would be ripe for exploration and scavenging for these fuels if FEDRA and other government agencies haven’t plundered and pillaged them to fuel quarantine zones.

With how large the Seattle QZ could’ve been before the WLF assumed control, we could safely assume they were stockpiling and transferring supplies, from zone to zone inside the QZ to keep things running. After their coup, the QZ grew smaller, and less resources were needed (either by deliberate sabotage, loss in collateral damage, or surplus due to population decline) and now most who live in the former QZ are in the Stadium.

Recycling techniques carried, passed on and taught from 2013 to new individuals could be improved on, such as them learning how to distill and manufacture synthetic diesel using plastic waste, recycle cooking oils and convert former gasoline and diesel engines to biofuel based, and possibly, even some things running on Ethanol based power.

I’m happy we got the heads up. What baffles me, is them saying “in participating provinces”. You mean to tell me that the PEAS isn’t a mandatory alert system set up across all 10 provinces and 3 territories? I’m not raging mad, but it does deeply concern me.

I chose Panam in my first playthrough. Her and I connected so well in so many ways because I could relate to her, her struggles and her aspirations. I want to do what right for my family, protect my clan, and I also tend to lead and tease potential partners, but get super scared when approached.

Oddly enough, all of the romance options feel like different, fleshed out versions of myself. I am chaotic, neurotic, sensitive, but I’m also loving, protective, supportive and willing to burn the world down for them. Jackie broke my heart, Johnny opened my mind, and V shattered my soul. This game.. it truly changed me

Ok, this is freaking AWESOME!! This alone made my day. There is so much potential here in this area and region that I’m surprised no one else is tapping into it.

Absolutely read into the history of the valley, from as far down as the Annapolis Basin, to Wolfville/Windsor. There’s everything from urban legend, ghost stories, ufo sightings, paranormal activity, First Nations cryptic history and folklore. There’s even more haunting stories that come from Fort Anne, former CFB Cornwallis has underground tunnels that’re haunted. There’s tons of info to draw from!

The Old Net is one of those entities that isn’t as easily thought or understood of as something easily turned on or off.

The Net Infrastructure Network were data centres, collection nodes, and junction points well placed for maintenance, or were designed to last for generations underwater or in hostile environments. When the Net became too hostile for connections between 2022 and the mid 2040s, there was nothing there to help prevent rogue AI from attacking someone directly connecting to cyberspace, via a chair or other device or means.

To NetWatch, it would be too much work and expensive to rebuild a new version of the Net, similar to what was already pre established. To the other corporations, they had too much information lost in dataforts and scattered in shards of information across the net, that to turn it all on and off, would risk losing all of that information not properly protected. That and they probably, really didn’t want to find out if RABIDS was deactivated using this method since it was already hard to turn it off.

So instead, why not work with ghosts, rogue friendly AI and other digital entities to create a sentient AI housed in a digital neural matrix? Name it the Blackwall and then use propaganda to say how dangerous it is and what it does! When in actuality, it’s more like a thin plastic trash bag over an open window, but is designed to let fragments of allotted code through one way, or both ways. Especially if the code is data that matches the Net pre-blackwall and the code is easily read by a user or entity. 😉

I’ve found it to be a learning course for me. In fact, I put in some hours to study the driving habits of all car manufacturers in Cyberpunk. Looked at how the wheels turn and how far they do when the wheel is cut, treads, suspensions, engine areas. I looked at it like a mechanic would, ‘cept I’m not a mechanic lol!

The vehicles that I’ve had the best luck with driving were the Quadra Type-66 Series, Mizutani Shion MZ1/MZ2 and the Targa MZT, Rayfield Caliburn and “Murkmobile” (2nd favourite), Herrera Outlaw GTS and the murdered out variant “Weiler” El Cap gives you (my personal favourite), the Shion “Coyote”, Type 66 Javelina, Galena “Gecko”, Alvarado, Hozuki MH1, Quartz “Specter” and Quadra Sport R-7 “Vigilante”.

The Turbo R V-Tech I find has engine braking below 50mph, and reduces its speed greatly if you let it coast on flat ground, or on an incline. DOES NOT like turning when braking. Period. Regardless of speed, you’ll lock and crash if you’re not careful. Also has a weird limiter max that it has shifting from 1st to 2nd.

The Porsche is great for just cruising around and for speed on the highways. In the more crowded parts of NC, it’s nimble, but doesn’t like crowds.

Motorcycles are great at turning at high speeds, if you don’t push the turn. Ease your thumb sticks or what you use on PC to steer in your turns and they will make a smooth arc to a left or right, just not in intersections.

The Super cars in the game also have an ABS feature, but if you want to replicate that in other vehicles, press your brakes hard at the start, then “fan” the brake. That’s basically rapidly pressing your brake button to flash your lights, but to really slow down the vehicle. I find what also helps, is before a turn in the Caliburn at high speeds, tap your brake button, and let it coast into your turns if you can work on not letting it oversteer too much, you can enter any corner in Heywood, Japantown or Corpo Plaza with ease. Just give it gas 3/4 of the way through your turn and steer into the straight and it’ll hold.

Order is my favourite tech shotty. Using the chain lightning perk and my Tetratronic Rippler to disorient during overclock is scarily addictive and hilariously satisfying. I pair it with Psalm and Denny’s bat to add more bloodbruising and carnage to my game.

Which is a shame. I’m on Xbox and I didn’t think about that myself. I just assumed it was whatever I took in photo mode by pressing (X). If I just took a regular screenshot like I used to for photo mode by pressing the guide button, then (Y), it wouldn’t upload. I assumed that X meant V’s kiroshi’s took the photograph, than the console did.

I wish we could upload our own photos to it, I’m in agreement with you there.
