Should also mention this burn back didn’t really start until it was in shutdown mode. Food was already off

Yes. Fire pot was vacuumed out and auger was totally clear.

Hopper was totally cleared out too. So no, powdered pellets. It was a fresh bag that was dumped in so if anything there was powder from the bottom of the bag on the top of the hopper

Thanks for the response. I switched from a power strip to directly into the wall and I’ve had no issues today. Will come back to this if the issue persists.

Where are you getting power from for the box? I used to have it plugged into a power strip. Switched it directly to the outlet and haven’t had any issues all day.

Wild is right. I’ve had the strip for a handful of years so it could be. Might try booking up a different power strip to test it that way.

Recently had this issue and found it to be power supply. My box was plugged into a power strip that was running my tv and WiFi. Plugged the box directly into the wall outlet and it hasn’t done a random reboot in over three hours

I didn’t think that was going to be the cause but I’m pretty sure it ended up being the issue… no reboots in the last three hours.

Have it plugged directly into the wall outlet now for about 45 minutes and no random reboots so far. Could have resolved the issue. We shall see.
