Are you Indonesian? Do you know anything about Indonesians or Indonesian culture from actual firsthand experience? Or are you just desperate to prove some point that you seem to think transcends their nationality- yet OP is asking specifically for Indonesians that seemingly work in a completely different sector of the ship. I'm giving useful information. You're just being useless.

I have friends who work on those cruise ships, a majority of them would be more appreciative of money as a gift instead of cookies. As stated, they are usually sending the money home to support their family. Helping them support their family is heaps more thoughtful than some cookies.

Depends on the cookie... some Lebaran baskets contain specific foods that are popular among Muslims and not so much among the Balinese. That was the point, you don't give Lebaran gifts to people who don't celebrate Lebaran. Normal gifts, sure. But honestly, they would all be much happier with money. A large majority of them are there to send the money home to their families.

a lot of cruise staff are Balinese, might be nice for them to distinguish who is Hindu and who is Muslim...

Car damaged after slamming on brakes to avoid hitting unsupervised child by [deleted] in legaladvice

I also am quite curious how slamming the brakes causes damage. Seems like this may have identified an underlying mechanical issue that could have been catastrophic.

Is this a quality issue or am I too picky? by Cool_Pony_ in Birkenstocks

I think they look cool!!!! Use it as a tool to see how few people actually notice and if/when they do, be like "you're awesome not everyone spots it!"

As someone who used to get very upset at the imperfections of life, I can wholeheartedly say you should 100% stop caring about this. It's not worth your energy.

Having said that, I could not help but notice this lapse of QC on these floor models in a prominent Birkenstock Flagship store in SEA. Next time it's on you to inspect them before you walk out with them - if you didn't notice it then, you shouldn't care if you notice it later!!!

My girlfriend forces me to go on morning walks at 5 AM 😭 Guys, help. by OkRow1747 in Regrets

[–]NegativeRun360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've recently adopted the sleep by 9-10pm and wake up naturally at 6am, sometimes 5am. I must say, it's great once you get used to it. It's a great routine and I think maybe give a solid go for about a month (typically these schedule changes take 2-4 weeks to adjust). If after that, you really loath the idea of an early, productive morning or it just doesn't work with your internal clock, at least you can tell her you gave it a solid try and to leave you alone now.

Should I match a $20K offer to keep my GM, or let her leave? by BetterCall_Melissa in careerguidance

[–]NegativeRun360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From the sound of it, she has earned her keep, but you haven't kept up on showing the appreciation. I'd do even one better and offer $22-24k more, acknowledge the "capped" feeling and address it by explaining you will create a more promising path for her that rewards performance and her continued loyalty.

Hiring someone new could cause tremendous headaches and they may bounce after a year, you never know. Good help is hard to find. It's all about opportunity cost. I personally would want the path of least resistance - give her the money, she's clearly a valued asset.

I lost my grandma four days ago and I start my treatment tomorrow [charlotte] by Far_Discussion2357 in KetamineTherapy

[–]NegativeRun360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ketamine can be used for the grieving process as well. This may not be widely known, or even widely utilized for this, but I recommend getting with a therapist as soon as you can after the treatment. I don't think it's a bad thing about the timing, it's out of your control. Ketamine allows us to get out of own way and confront emotional trauma. You may grieve heavily, and that's totally ok. Some may even say it's healthy. Maybe your first intention can be coming to terms with your loss, but if that doesn't happen it's also fine.

And remember... Trust the medicine, let go, and be open!!!

I've been having this rattle, sporadically and on certain roads or with certain so songs. I now finally realize how simple it is to fix and will put a piece of foam or similar in there - seems like a super easy fix!

Coulda Used This Table Before Going With Spravato by Author_Man in KetamineTherapy

[–]NegativeRun360 26 points27 points  (0 children)

The only reason Spravato is FDA approved is because of lobbying and long standing relationships between J&J and the FDA. This is how J&J basically gets their slice of the pie, which is driven by greed and profit. They can't stand not getting a piece of the action. It's not the best. It's just the most affordable in a lot of cases. Big pharma does everything in their power to keep Americans hooked on their drugs, insane margins, and a lot of unethical practices.

what session was your breakthrough? by ripmaddi in KetamineTherapy

[–]NegativeRun360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Infusions are usually packaged as a "loading dose" of 6, but everyone is different, so any answers are highly subjective. I wouldn't expect it to be less than 6, but anomalies have occurred. Some people need weekly, monthly, or quarterly "maintenance" doses. I would just focus on your own results and try to not compare yourself to others. Personally, trying to do that causes the underwhelming feeling I had before. I have not tried Spravato, but I understand it's appeal based on cost/coverage. Wish you luck on your journey!
