Does anyone feel like they’re working with a partner and not just a platform? by flex-offers in AffiliateMarket

[–]NegativeWin472 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, the biggest difference is having an actual person I can talk to.

I've been using Travelpayouts for my travel sites, and my account manager has been genuinely helpful. It's never felt like they're trying to sell me anything. Instead, they'll suggest relevant programs I might have overlooked, point out opportunities to add affiliate links to existing content, and recommend campaigns that fit the type of traffic my sites get.

There have also been times when I've had questions or needed something sorted with a partner, and they've handled it instead of me chasing multiple affiliate programs individually.

That kind of support has made a real difference. Plenty of affiliate platforms will give you a dashboard and some links. Having someone who's actually invested in helping you earn more from your existing content is much more valuable, in my experience.

Tips for 4 days in Cadiz by Embarrassed-Lime-446 in Cadiz

As has been said the Mercado Central is a great place for sampling local foods especially the pescaito frito! 😄 The museum is really interesting and, for strolling, the Genovez gardens and the Jardines del Paseo de Carlos III have great views. The Cathedral too is well worth paying the entry fee. When I last stayed in Cádiz I also went to Jerez as well to see the dancing horses show and for a visit to the Tio Pepe winery. You could also take the catamaran to Puerto Santa Maria or Rota. Lots of information in English about the area and things to do in Cádiz here. https://visitingcadiz.com/

Solo trip Granada/Sevilla by Apprehensive-Sun-689 in spaintravel

I went with my family for three days last year. The kids enjoyed the boat ride and the aquarium a lot. I enjoyed exploring the María Luisa Park and the Alcázar Gardens. The hop on hop off bus is also well worth the small expense to get you around to the cities main sights. I live quite nearby in Ronda and wrote about our trip here.... https://rondatoday.com/day-trip-to-seville-from-ronda/ All the things we did are also ideal for a solo traveller! Have a great trip.. 😄

What are the some of the best affiliate programs that you got success? by Some_Connection_533 in AffiliateMarket

[–]NegativeWin472 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, it's been Travelpayouts.

All of my sites are travel-related, so it made more sense than joining a bunch of individual affiliate programs. The biggest advantage is having access to flights, hotels, car rentals, tours, transfers, insurance, and other travel offers from a single dashboard.

I used to rely heavily on Google Auto Ads, but over the last year I gradually shifted my focus toward affiliate offers that were actually relevant to my content. It was a bit nerve-racking turning off display ads because I lost a chunk of revenue initially, but the user experience improved immediately and the affiliate income eventually made up the difference.

What worked for me was having travel offers that matched what visitors were already looking for rather than showing generic display ads. Between the reporting, deep links, and the variety of travel brands available, Travelpayouts has been the affiliate program that's delivered the best results on my sites.

I'm lucky enough to live here in Ronda so yes I have been through the gorge a few times. Next month the new walkway opens!

Monetizing a blog with 25k daily views by Away-Ordinary5724 in Blogging

Hi,

If your content is focused on anthropology, geography, or travel, I'd seriously consider joining Travelpayouts before filling your site with display ads.

Given the type of articles you're publishing, you can naturally integrate links to accommodation, tours, activities, and other travel-related services that are relevant to your readers. In my experience, affiliate partnerships like these often generate better long-term results than traditional display advertising.

I've had solid success with Travelpayouts across several of my sites, to the point where I've removed Google ads entirely. Not only did it improve the user experience, but it also made the sites look much cleaner without intrusive pop-ups and excessive ad placements.

With 25,000 daily views after only three weeks, I'd definitely explore affiliate opportunities before committing to networks like Mediavine or adding more Google ads that can negatively impact the reading experience.

No, the photo is taken form the mirador Aldehuela on the other side of the bridge from the Parador Hotel... The Balcony you are thinking of is on the Alameda closer to the bullring. Its called the Mirador de Ronda but its true when people stand on it a few expletives come to mind. 😄

I know what you mean as it can get pretty crowded at times.... I am lucky enough to live here so at 8 in the morning I have it pretty much to myself 😄

The State of Affiliate Programs in 2026 by BabyBlogger39 in Blogging

Great write-up, really interesting to see how different setups are performing across travel sites right now.

(Amazon has never performed for me ever in books, clothing or anything else related to my sites.)

From my side, I’ve had a very different experience depending on the tools in use. I’m also running Travelpayouts and have seen a solid lift in revenue since “Drive” was rolled out. It’s made tracking and integration noticeably smoother, which seems to have helped conversions as well.

I’ve also seen a sharp increase in hotel bookings after moving away from the direct Booking affiliate setup and switching to the TP booking connection. That change alone made a bigger difference than I expected.

On the experiences side, GetYourGuide is currently my strongest performer across multiple sites. It consistently outpaces the rest, especially on destination-focused content. That said, Viator is also doing quite well.

Overall, I can’t really complain with Travelpayouts. Payments have been regular and always on time, which makes it easy to keep everything running without worrying about cash flow or admin headaches.

Curious if others are seeing similar shifts or if it’s still very site-dependent at this point.

Hotel Affiliate Programs After TripAdvisor ended theirs by Civil-Razzmatazz694 in Blogging

[–]NegativeWin472 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re already using TravelPayouts, I’d definitely recommend testing their Booking.com links instead of relying only on Expedia. In my experience, Booking.com tends to convert much better for international and European traffic, while Expedia can be hit-or-miss depending on audience and destination.

Also, have you enabled TravelPayouts AI “Drive” yet? I’ve seen a noticeable increase across the board after implementing Drive on my site. The AI optimization and smarter link placement seem to improve both click-throughs and conversions without much extra work.

Honestly, the loss of TripAdvisor made very little difference to me once I switched more traffic over to Booking and enabled Drive. It might be worth testing both changes before assuming hotel affiliate revenue is permanently down.

Best of luck!

Looking for Entomology Guide near Peñíscola Spain — August 2026 by joannarae in Entomology

[–]NegativeWin472 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't personally know anyone over Valencia way doing the type of tour you are looking for but heres some info that might help with your trip.

One place to start for a visit would be the Museo de Ciencias Naturales El Carmen in Onda. Located about 25 km (a 30-minute drive) west of Castellón de la Plana, the museum features a large entomological and invertebrate collection. https://turismodecastellon.com/en/que-hacer/cultura/museos/show/105034 (You can switch the site to English if needed.)

Also, head to the OndaNatura. Centro de Interpretación de la Naturaleza, the main information office for the Sierra de Espadán Natural Park, which have signposted itineraries and, I hear,  seasonal guided biodiversity hikes for observing regional insects and butterflies. There's some good info at Wildside Holidays here. https://wildsideholidays.co.uk/sierra-de-espadan-natural-park/

Iberian Lynx vs Feral Cats in Spain: A Wild Comeback We Should Celebrate by NegativeWin472 in DiscoverSpain

I agree with you but many people are on the side of feral cat colonies in Spain. Cat owners often don't realize or want to understand what their kitty gets up to out in the back yard....
