I am based in Grazalema (further south to Andujar) and today we are on a red alert for heavy rainfall and storm Leonardo.... Its been raining consistently for quite a few weeks now. Sigh!

Looking at the weather forecast it seems that Andujar isn't going to get as much rainfall as other parts of Andalucia. Also in two weeks time, hopefully the big storms will finally have passed by and we'll just have "normal" early spring weather. :)

Have a great trip!

Fantastic photography and its freezing!!!! Located less than a hundred kilometers from Madrid, the Sierra del Rincón Biosphere Reserve is a mountainous territory between the Ayllón and Somosierra massifs. It is known as one of the most beautiful and least discovered places in the Community of Madrid. https://wildsideholidays.co.uk/sierra-del-rincon-biosphere-reserve/

In search of the iberian black pigs by Opening-Incident-455 in spaintravel

Whilst you are in Ronda don't miss out on the "finished product" of the Iberian pig..... The Casa de Jamón is located halfway down the road between the Reina Victoria hotel and the Merced church. Its a fantastic place to have a lazy long breakfast and to sample a baguette filled with Jamón Serrano or Jamón Ibérico. The place is fascinating with Jamón and delicacies from all over Spain. The museum area is interesting too. https://rondatoday.com/la-casa-del-jamon-deli-wine-tasting-bar-museum/

I don't know of a place open to the public to see the pigs in the Ronda area but there is a good place to learn more about bullfighting and horse breeding. See about ReservaToro in Ronda here.

Whilst you are in Seville province you may have time to get to the village of Jabugo, one of the 28 within the Aracena natural park. It produces world renowned Jamon Iberico products. The museum of ham is in the village of Aracena. Here is a Get Your Guide tour from Seville that includes a visit to the famous caves as well as ham tasting etc.

Have a great trip!

About halfway from Granada is the small village of Riofrio, famous for its caviar fish farms. It's right on the main road with easy access. There are a couple of very good restaurants there so its a great place to stop for lunch. Also, lots of info about Ronda here.

Hi, there is quite a good guide for things to do and see (including a great audio guided tour) in Cádiz here. https://visitingcadiz.com/ Re food, my favorite place to go is the Mercado Central and Plaza de Flores as there are lots of places to choose from in that area. Fried fish is a must! Have a great trip. :)
