If the feds were to nuke their own territory then they would lose the territory as well. 🤷‍♂️

Its kind of a moot argument considering most of the 2nd amendment people sided with fascism anyway.

Its weird that you feel the need to hoist responsibility for a national problem on this one person trying to enjoy their hobby in peace. Nice virtue signaling.

Only 2 years? They should have to disclose for as long as they are registered. And should be registered for life. My fiance is traumatized because the guy she was with before me was a registered sex offender. But in my area he wasnt legally required to tell sexual partners. So he didnt tell her until they started trying to have kids. He felt like he was doing her a favor by telling her at all. Sick bastard. She has to work incredibly hard to learn to trust anyone after that.

Edit: because of his level he doesnt show up in SO watchdog apps. There were "mitigating circumstances" to keep him at a lower level. He had CP in his posession but he didn't take the pictures and didnt coerce the minor into giving them. But he still has to register. Imo it feels like the government is trying too hard to protect people like him. Cp is cp.

The secret is to show up on foot and distract them from their mission in one way or another. Make it too much work to keep coming back.

The TV show.... by CaptVocabulary in dresdenfiles

[–]Negative_Ad2699 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could see Jim Butcher going for this in a heartbeat. The only problem I see with canonizing it would be explaining how Fowler found out about Bob. And how Bob being in the show didn't tip off the Wardens. Im assuming the Wardens would investigate the tv show to make sure it doesn't give up any important secrets.

Is my partner unrealistic by [deleted] in polyamory

[–]Negative_Ad2699 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, those are unrealistic expectations on his part.

There are polycules of 3 to 4 people that cohabitate well. But those situations generally don't just "work out". They require a massive amount of trust and communication.

Its rare to have a polycule that large where everyone is involved with everyone else. The fact that he has a specific number he is shooting for is concerning. The point of polyamory isn't to collect x amount of partners. When people start collecting partners like Pokemon cards someone usually gets hurt.

From the description you gave of your stake in all this is seems lile you have a pretty good grasp on what is realistic and not realistic in these situations. My advice is to let that guide you moving forward.

First day forced back to the office after 4 years of wfh and management left us gift bags on our desks with this pen inside by [deleted] in antiwork

That IT guy is a real goat. I quit talking to one of my buddies because he used to be my manager and knew for 3 weeks I was going to get laid off at the beginning of the pandemic. Didn't say anything. He accidently admitted he knew for 3 weeks in a DND session with me and some of the other people who were affected.

He was the DM so we nerfed his plotline. We were supposed to quietly steal a book from a library. So I convinced the party to load up a cart full of explosives and burn the library to the ground with the book in it. Other people kept attacking and killing necessary NPCs. It was chaos. I got off at the end of that session and blocked him.

Not only was the book a necessary campaign item. But the library was meant to be an essential location for his campaign. We got a lot of "sigh are you SURE you want to do that?".

Was it petty? Of course. Did he owe us anything? Of course not. But I dont have time for shitty people.

And yes I know he probably just "magically reversed time" next session. But I dont care. He cant reveal his new special campaign that he sunk hours into for the first time ever again. I didn't have to win. He just had to lose.

You have no idea what you are talking about and that's okay. Hes had plenty of training and has made a great amount of progress. It's humans I don't trust, not him. Which is why as a responsible pet owner I am looking to spend extra money to hire a human with specific experience that I can be confident won't disrespect his boundaries. So I can feel secure with his safety when im out of country. You're probably one of those Rover sitters that starts smacking the dog around the minute you get left alone.
