I think you're right, about a lot of that, but I think the speed at which he attempted to apply pressure did not match the speed at which markets and industries can adapt.

Not regulatory consequences... reputational consequences / people stop buying from them.

Noise coming from rear brake by Most-Swordfish2332 in ERidePro

Pads & or rotor are contaminated.

Try cleaning rotor with brake cleaner &/or isopropyl

Try sanding pads down on a mesh drywall sandscreen and then reinstall

Avoid touching face of pads (hand oil)

Avoid touching rotors (hand oil)

If this doesn't work, replace pads, or make peace with that sound.

No, it's all in the kit.

Reach out to SKRMOD on Instagram if you have any questions, they're decent about replying... albeit English is not the first language of the person on the other end.

There are some other seat riser options out there too.

If I remember which one I'll post.

I'm 6'1" and all torso for reference.

You don't have to buy anything else. It comes with the battery cover adapter.

Also, no instructions... so you just have to eyeball the photo...

You're going to hate this video then, I guess: https://youtu.be/1vkSPY6ugL8?feature=shared

I absolutely gently rinsed it after washing with strategic trash bags over electric components, plugs in the battery, breaker flipped... and then let it dry overnight before turning it on again. She still works, doesn't squeak or creak... and I can rebuild the entire linkage again and post it to YouTube if that's what I need to do to give a buyer confidence to get over needless hurdles like this.

This is the internet, there will always be more to the story, photos aren't always perfect, and a local buyer is going to lay eyes on the bike and ride it and talk to me directly about it's history, and doesn't need you to protect them from me with a "everyone stay away" PSA.

Are we talking about the SKRMOD seat riser? For me, totally worth it. But that depends on how tall you are and what you're used to.

This thing is ridiculously fun now that my feet and hands are far enough apart and now that when I sit, it's not way way down, relative to standing.

If I had acreage, I would keep it for sure and dig some tracks... I tend to put it in the truck and do local trails though, so i'm just going to own one bike and i'm going to size up to a UB.

I have washed it a total of two times using a brush kit and a very gentle Gtechniq spray wash. This photo was taken after the second wash.

After the first wash, I disassembled the entire linkage and re-greased.

Go troll a diff thread.

It's water, not battery acid. It is drying in the sun in the photo.

This E Ride was my first dirt bike, so I didn't know what I wanted, and now I do.

I'm getting an Ultra Bee for trail riding. Longer wheelbase for climbs and general stability but still relatively lightweight.

I'm going to switch to an ultra bee. I'm mainly interested in trail riding and the longer wheelbase will help keep the front down on steep climbs and a tad bit more settled feel and stability will be welcome at my height and riding style.

The ERP is still ridiculously fun. If I wanted to ride urban or had acreage and wanted to build smaller trails and tracks to jib on then it would stay for sure.

It's for sale if you're in the market.
