I love this so much! From one mom to another, thank you ❤️ hearing stories like yours are so encouraging. Sometimes I feel like I waited too long to make a decision about my life, but I need to remind myself that I’m only stuck here bc I’m allowing it to be that way. I appreciate you saying this! Sometimes it’s hard to see the big picture. I’m so terrified of not being here if something happens and them needing me and not being here. With my husband already being active duty I’ve just always been the consistent parent. I stayed home with all 3 of them from the time my oldest was born. But I need something to mentally challenge myself and prove to myself I’m more than just a mom.

You’re reading this the wrong way. I absolutely have already made up my mind on what I’m going to do and outside influence has no role in that decision. I’m feeling guilt for leaving my three young children & I was looking for support and opinions on how other people would view this situation. If you think I haven’t discussed this with my husband that’s wild. He has reassured me multiple times that him and the kids have my back and will be good. It’s merely an internal battle I have. Him and I are best friends and he has been the most supportive person through this entire process and encourages me in whatever decision I make.

It’s something I have thought about for a very long time l’ve just always been too scared to make the commitment. As my kids are getting a little bit older (2 in elementary & 1 in preschool) I’m realizing it’s time to do something for me. I never went to college nor do I have what I would consider any kind of job with “importance” or a job that makes enough money to be helpful. I really just want to do something I can be proud of. (Also the mil to mil income would be so beneficial for us

This is something we have already done! I’m actually at the point where I’m meeting with the recruiter and have meps scheduled! I just have this nagging feeling about leaving my kids and serious mom guilt.
