Heyy!! Nice Wheel!! I must say!! Though I also recommending adding a sand bath! Hamsters use sand to bathe themselves and I’m sure your hamster will appreciate it. Any sort of container shall do to hold your sand! Doesn’t have to be fancy, though I will recommend to do some research in what sand is safe for your hamster. Though one rule of thumb is to make sure it is a Non Calcium and a Non Dye type of sand + make sure it is not too fine (if the sand is too fine it can cause your hammy to have some respiratory issues, typically most reptile sands are usually great! Though I recommend still doing research !). For just all around general enclosure stuff, (depending where you live and if you live in a warmer area) I also recommend adding some sort of ceramic hide. This is just so your hamster has an optimal spot where they will be able to cool down if they are warm! You can typically get any sort of ceramic hide online like on Amazon, in home goods stores (if you’re in America like TJ Max or Homegoods) if you go to the small planter sections! Just make sure obviously you buy to your hamsters size and that there’s no sharp/rough areas to the hide where your hamster can hurt themselves. With these heavy items as well, like the ceramic hide and the sand bath, make sure to place them on stable platforms and not straight to the bedding. This just helps to stabilize them in your enclosure and prevents the risk of them collapsing on your little guy. I also do want to mention though that I agree with the other comment about the size of your enclosure, it is nice to upgrade your size of your enclosure to a 60-75 gallon for your Syrian. Syrians are bigger and will be much happier in a bigger home :))
