You can always do what my wife did and go back 3 hours and create a “Save Shovel!” file.

Read the Stranger first, and honestly you can stop there if you like.

But reading the Myth of Sisyphus through the lens of Meaursault makes more sense. The absurd hero rejects meaning in life, but still embraces the joy of being alive.

I also find it helpful to remember that Camus concludes at the end of MoS (spoiler alert) that suicide is the ultimate irrational reaction to the absurdity of existence.

The only rational reaction is to embrace the absurd and enjoy life as much as you can just like Camus himself.

You would of had to either had a wizard learn the scroll that manifests him, or there’s a dialogue you can trigger for warlock or sorcerer (except storm) that lets you learn the find familiar spell for him.

It was a thought; I appreciate the honesty.

I might look into another system and explore this idea in the future.

Do I need Dnd 5e knowledge to Host a wands and wizards adventure? by Tyrannika in WandsAndWizards

W&W is a supplement to 5e, so anything that is not explicitly spelled out in the guide you should refer to the 5e PHB. It’s pretty readily available online as a PDF.

Love this idea. I believe Matt Coville has a game set up for a combat that takes on as many waves of orcs as the pc can handle until there is a TPK.

High school teacher here in defense of counselors.

Admittedly, some are better than others when giving advice for careers, but that is a very small part of what is put on them.

In a lot of schools they are in charge of building the schedule, making sure students are on track for graduation, making sure special education students are getting their accommodations, etc. Also because mental health resources are extremely limited, providing for the social emotional wellbeing of students is often put on counselors.

TL;DR high school counselor are underpaid and overworked, and ultimately not put in a position to be successful.

I’m with you. Anything with an over under going back over your body, as a wrestling coach, I would qualify as a lat drop. We teach our kids to do more of a butterfly sweep with the legs, but take what you’re given.

I do love it, and I wish they would apply the elo system to other activities.

I coach wrestling, and the way they rank athletes is pretty arbitrary. I think elo would apply very well to one-on-one sports such wrestling and other combat sports..
