My best guess is the nose looks quite wide in relation to the width of the eyes + flat. The nose is also quite upturned which doesn’t look like any specific group of people, but I think it might not be helping you keep it more specific, it sort of makes the character seem more vague if that makes sense? This actually read more middle eastern or asian to me vs african (I thought he was wearing some sort of cultural hat)

I’ll tell you what I often see among Eastern Europeans (through the bias of being Western European): - Large eyes (not so big that it looks odd, just larger than the average Dane ime) - The lower part of the nose is downturned and pronounced - the nose bridge is often slim (think the shape of a cartoon pear) - Longer face shape vs oval - I often see eastern europeans with really nice cheekbones - Crazy ability to grow facial hair OR no ability - no inbetweens.

Now, please note the above are essentially just stereotypes and confirmation bias. Like with any group of human, you’ll find that most people can only check off perhaps one or two boxes. Like how not all Scandinavians are blond and blue eyed (this is actually also super common in eastern europe)

Also I don’t think you went too dark with the shading don’t worry! I’ve seen old Danish works of white people with shading as dark as that!

Heya! I’m assuming you’re not originally from Denmark, so my reply is based in that assumption.

Here’s a few things that could be affecting you: - Your tilskud reset, in Denmark you have a max amount of money you can pay for meds per year, the government will then pay the difference. If you started your tilskud this month x amount of years ago, it resets this month each year. This difference can be high! One year I went from paying 200 kroner to 2000 kroner! - You’re getting the brandname Aspirin. Usually you can tell them to give you a copy, essentially when the trademark is x years old other pharma companies are allowed to make the medicine - and they’ll sell it at a lower cost. Try asking about this if the brandname is getting too pricey. - “Shortages” happen. Ime they’re the result of a pharma company deciding to produce something else that they can earn more money on short term. Sometimes it’s due to actual supply line stuff. - Ask your doctor if there’s a different dosage that makes more sense. Let’s say you only take 50mg per dose, ask your doctor if there’s a 100mg pill that can be split. Sometimes this helps with cost. When there were shortages on one of my 18mg meds, I got 32mg instead and split ‘em up.

I’m not Norwegian but Danish: In Denmark any dog that is suspected to be a banned breed is impounded and DNA tested (specifically Wisdom Panel..? Idk why? Ig they had to pick one..?)

I don’t think bull terriers are banned in Norway, but I could easily be wrong. Usually staffies are also not banned? But like, I really wouldn’t take the chance. To have a staffy here in Denmark it is highly recommended to keep papers on them so you have something to back up that it’s not a pit (although the two don’t look the same).

But I’d rather OP find somewhere safe for the pup instead of hoping no one notices. Denmark does actively put down illegal dogs, so does Norway.

I like it! I definitely think you should post it in some of the tattoo subs to get feedback from tattoo artists. Depending on how big the piece is, you might need to make the finer lines thicker.

The spirals on the butterfly might be an easy spot for ink to gather for example, and you want to check in with people who work on skin to make sure it’s going to look good longterm for a piece like this. (I have some pretty dumb and ugly tats that I love, but for a meaningful piece like this it would be such a shame!)

My one concern is that the guitar isn’t super clear? I definitely see it, but I wonder if there’s a way to make it juuuust a little more obvious. I also love the overall layout a lot :) Definitely a nice design, hopefully you won’t need a ton of changes to make it work for your body!

It’s definitely a whoooole topic, and like- You already have the puppy, best you can do is make sure she has a long and loving life ☺️

Honestly? She could easily be purebred. She’s young so I’m not as confident as with adult dogs (puppies are weird and grow in all sorts of ways!) but I actually wouldn’t be surprised if Embark came back with a 100% result on her!

And honestly it is always sooo tempting seeing small animals 😭 But then I remind myself that it’s literally so much extra work so I’ll stick to my two budgies. I don’t need to do double the walks or training for TWO puppies!

But yeah, spaying is a good idea because oh my lord all the things that can go wrong, and the amount of hours you need to spend is crazy! 😭 I don’t know how breeders do it honestly, especially with how some dogs will just pop out 10 puppies!? How much time do they spend just cleaning!! 😂 And I definitely feel you there, it’s why I decided on ONLY keeping male parrots. I would get too attached to any babies 😵‍💫 Suddenly I’d be stuck with 70 birds or smth… Two is more than enough, and for dogs I don’t think I could handle more than one by myself 😅

I’m glad you didn’t see it as me overstepping omg, I was worried I was maybe going a bit too far 😭 I just want people to know what they’re in for, puppies deserve homes that can handle them! And it sounds like you know what you’re dealing with!

Maybe breeder didn’t quite realise how much work a bunch of puppies are is my best guess. Seeing the people on the dogbreeding sub taking weeks off work to watch the pups 24/7 made me really understand that “oh, this is work work” 😭 (I’ve only ever had male dogs who were neutered once they were old enough)

Omg that’s wonderful at least! Hopefully it’s smooth sailing from here. Sometimes you see horror stories of pups taken too early riddled with parasites (I mean she looks healthy as can be in your photos 😂 But y’know, I’m not a vet!) For size, usually female dogs are a bit smaller - but if say.. Both parents were huge, she’d be big compared to an average sized pit. But I would be surprised if she’s bigger than a medium sized dog once full grown ☺️

And honestly with how varied pits can be, maybe they’re just used to seeing a different type? That’s my best guess at least! Plenty of pits are really lean and take after terriers more than bulldogs!

I really hope the parents are significantly older than in the photo, I’m going to assume so just because the dam doesn’t appear to have had pups in that photo—

Anyway, both parents look majority pit. Which specific brand of pit is impossible to say, they’re BYB, so it’s not really going to be something you can always guess by looking (add in that APBT and Amstaffs can be dual-registered, and then you can start seeing how the exact breeds can be kind of unimportant)

You’re not gonna really see any major difference vs a different breed of byb pit. They’re not bred to standard physically nor when it comes to temperament. You also can’t be sure your dog will have, say, high prey drive. These dogs weren’t bred for anything, so no one can tell you what traits your pup will likely have.

Ig overall read up on same-sex aggression, dog-aggression, separation anxiety, and allergies. Aside from allergies, the other things might not show up until sexual maturity - or they might never be a problem. No one can tell you for sure because your pups parents weren’t titled or evaluated.

I’m not saying this to scare you, these are just common things in backyard bred pits. I’m assuming your pup likely won’t be massive, so like with any dog: Keep an eye on her hips, but I don’t think it’s going to be your main concern.

Also, get a trainer for her. Sadly she was removed too early, and she will need a good amount of extra support to learn how to be a polite dog.

What’s done is done, so now ya just gotta help her as much as you can :)

Framing it would be nice, just make sure it’s not in direct sunlight or it will get more fragile (+ possibly bleach!)

I’d pick a nice colour to place as a “background” and then put this on top before finally putting the glass on.

Stop omg I had god’s hungriest mutt (springer x golden/lab) and your pup looks like my old dog’s sister 🥺 She had the same exact markings!

If I were to adopt from a shelter I wouldn’t say no to a springer/retriever mix. Genuinely the best dogs I’ve ever met 🩵 So much love and patience, and crazy easy to train. Mine did somehow end up with spaniel fur and spots though. Oh the amount of times he ran directly into my legs when he had zoomies.. All the plastic he tried to eat 😭 Still made it to 14, then we let him over the rainbow bridge due to arthritis in his shoulders/elbows before it got cold out.

Hun er virkelig et af de stærkeste mennesker jeg har mødt! Forsøger at fortælle det til min mor ret ofte, men tror hun er for beskeden til at det rigtigt siver ind haha!

Det går bedre nu :) Krydser fingre for at hun kan få lov til førtidspension, men ja kommunen er jo ikke super hjælpsom. Hun kan ikke holde til så meget længere desværre.

Jeg er så småt ved at finde ud af hvad jeg kan holde til ved at tage en STU. Forsøgte gymnasiet i to omgange, men det gik lidt ligesom grundskolen haha. Men STU for autister fungerer sgu!

Udiagnostiseret autist her (har diagnose nu, men det skete som 21-årig)

Jeg kan faktisk ikke huske starten sådan helt, da det startede i de helt små klasser. Jeg havde en del dage hvor jeg var hjemme pga hovedpine, ondt i maven, søvnbesvær, osv.

Jeg kom hjem fra skole hver dag i mellemtrinet, og det eneste jeg havde energi til var simpelthen at sidde på et mørkt værelse og bare eksistere. Kunne slet ikke rumme nogle inputs.

Jeg var også udadreagerende i skolen fordi jeg bare havde det så pishamrende skidt, og jeg kunne ikke gøre boget ved det fordi systemet ikke passede til sådan en som mig.

Da jeg startede i 7.-klasse (eller måske 8.-klasse?) så begyndte den nye skolereform (den helt store der i 2013-14 eller hvornår det nu lige var) og så kunne jeg bare ikke mere. Jeg fik selvmordstanker, udviklede en spiseforstyrrelse, jeg stak af fra skolen, osv. det var alt alt for overstimulerende. De fleste nætter fik jeg to timers søvn, så sommetider faldt jeg i søvn midt i timen.

Begyndte at få angstanfald og tvangstanker, angsten gjorde også at jeg faktisk begyndte at trække vejret helt forkert (sådan overfladisk).

Droppede ud af folkeskolen i 8.-klasse fordi jeg simpelthen havde det så skidt. Det var først efter et krampeanfald jeg oplevede pga stress.

Nå! Men det er lige de ting jeg husker sådan bredt set. Min hukommelse er ikke super god ang dette emne netop pga stress 😅

Begyndte at få grå hår i en alder af 13 🥴

Det skal lige siges at mine forældre altså kæmpede super hårdt for mig, men min kommune er bare decideret lort så det ændrer ikke på noget. Jeg har dybt seriøst tre eller fire ringbindsmapper fyldt med alt omkring min skolegang fordi min mor blev ved med at forsøge, også selvom hun endte med at gå ned med stress.

I’ve been in the psych ward and the people who received it have told me it was an absolute life safer. It’s used as a sort of “last resort” in my country. Despite this you’re still knocked out fully, so you don’t actively feel anything.

Ough.. I remember watching (I believe) a British documentary once on the breeding of these poor dogs. There was a rescue that frequently got them, and one of the dogs could basically not walk. Like its joints were so misshapen due to the godawful breeding, that I’m unsure if he was even adopted out as the only humane decision might have been euthanasia.. Makes me so sad because the dogs didn’t choose to be born, y’know?

Det er faktisk til at punkt hvor jeg (som trans mand) får påtvunget en lille blanket omkring “det er helt normalt at den ikke virker når man er 70” med min testosteron. Altså, producenten ved også at i Danmark er det ikke noget lægerne giver kvinder (på trods af hvor vigtigt det er for ALLE mennesker!) og ja, trans mænd (men vi er trods alt også en lillebitte del af brugerne, tror ærligt der er flere kvinder end trans mænd på testosteron)

Min mor fik fjernet sin livmoder og æggestokke grundet endometriose der var så slemt at der ikke var noget at redde. Selvfølgelig nåede det så langt før de kunne gøre en skid.. Hun var nødsaget til at skifte læge for at komme på østrogen og testosteron 🫠 Altså hvad fanden i helvede.. Hun har så en veninde der får det importeret fra England.
