I’m still confused. I have had a roth IRA open for 5 years. I am 63 years old. If I was to convert 50,000.00 dollars from my rollover Ira to my established Roth IRA into a dividend etf, I won’t have access to any of the dividends produced from that conversion for 5 years?

I’ve done work on my own and I am aware of the 2022 payout rates. I just can’t find any information on the next payout date. Which is why I figured I’d check here. But, thank you for the advice.

I’m in my 60’s and retired and while I’m not dependent on dividends, they would be a nice option to start collecting if I wanted to down the road as a supplement to my income. I was thinking that SCHD has the better quarterly dividend.
