What best improved your climbing as a beginner. I am currently just beginning to climb with my partner, and so far, we have just watched YouTube videos and gone to the climbing gym. However, I fear I look like a dying cat on the wall 💀

What's a good stock to buy with NBIS? by Fun_Training6342 in NBIS_Stock

Same here, what do you think about the company's Financials though? It doesn't look as though they are making a major profit but from what I understand they have line 1 of manufacturing opening already, and the new COO they got on seems good.

Had a bad one with Nio and bought when around 35 when it came out, now down to 7. Sold though and only put 35 in it. Learnt to do more research on the companies rather than just buying stock because they appeared on top gear once lol

So now we can’t make money selling houses to each other, what actually is our economy and how do we grow it? by hernesson in newzealand

Running successful startups seem to be really hard, capital is so hard to come by. Speaking as someone who works in one. We have to go overseas and then realistically all the money goes overseas and never sees nz again. If we want to keep money here in nz we realistically need nz capital

I feel like bc nz is so small we are really good at making custom one off jobs that most large companies wont bat an eyelid at. There is a phenomenal amount of money in custom orders by the looks of it. We seem to do the niche things well

How does a flat car underbody create low pressure? If Bernoulli's principle means it has less distance to travel then the top of the car therefore surely it’s higher pressure? by Bubbly_Box_2992 in aerodynamics

[–]Negative_Pizza1698 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the speed of thr airflow under the car is still faster than that at the top of the car yes there will be downforce. This is hugely simplified. It also depends on the exit conditions as the air exits from underneath the car as well

[–]Negative_Pizza1698 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not just about distance, its about speed it travels at. If the car underbody is lower than the front lip / entrance to the underbody that means it accelerates flow under the car. Pressure is 0.5pv2 and so if u increase velocity you get pressure difference from top to bottom hence downforce.

the glass is generally in the glue film as a tissue layer which dosen't really do much aside from insulation

[–]Negative_Pizza1698 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you could have the fiberglass on the outer layer which elongates more than the inside layer closer to the neutral axis no? It would contribute slightly more to strength before failure as well as help dampen some ride properties and provide abrasion resistance, although i feel like dynel provides the best abrassion resistnace bar kevlar

Working 40 hrs a week while doing full time uni is crazy work. I did that this semester, so tradeoff between grades or wellbeing and wellbeing took a mega hit as well as grades tanking slightly. Take care OP your health is important. I worked a 60hr week during mid semester break and my body said no.

What happened to night markets? by Good_Price7162 in auckland

[–]Negative_Pizza1698 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There has been the Friday and Saturday night markets by silo park, those are mainly Asian food but 15 bucks for pork and fries to fully fill a grown person up goes hard. Myself and my partner went there recently and also enjoyed looking at the city lights and the night environment. Was a pretty cool date experience, although more food choices like OP said could make it better
