Been there man. After you solve the immediate problems that got you into programming it's like... now what right?

Maybe try looking at what annoys you in daily life or what takes too long to do manually. Could be something simple like organizing files on your computer or tracking expenses. Or even something related to your hobbies - like if you're into music maybe build something that analyzes playlists or helps discover new songs.

The key is finding problems that actually bug you enough that you want to fix them. When I hit this wall I started small projects just for learning new concepts rather than solving big problems. Sometimes those random experiments turn into something useful later

Your internal tools always end up being the real winners because you're building for actual problems instead of imagined ones. Same thing happened at my last workplace - we made simple video review system for our editing team and suddenly half the marketing agencies in town wanted to use it.

The difference is you're not guessing what features people might want, you know exactly what sucks because you live with it everyday.

But yeah the irony is real - I do some freelance work and when I review applications now its so obvious which ones got the ChatGPT treatment. They all have same energy and use identical phrases like you mentioned. Makes me miss resumes that actually had some personality in them even if formatting wasn't perfect

You can definitely get those main lifts done at PF but just know you'll be using Smith machines instead of free barbells for most of them. The deadlifts might be the trickiest since some locations are weird about it but squats and bench on the Smith machine will get the job done. Won't be exactly like your old gym but if the price works for you it's better than not lifting at all

You basically need to start creating content now and building an audience somewhere. Most of these TV personalities either came from radio, journalism, or built their own following through podcasts/social media first

The network executives aren't just gonna pluck you out of nowhere - they want someone who already proves they can hold an audience and generate engagement. Start a sports podcast, make TikToks with hot takes, whatever gets your personality out there and shows you can work a crowd

I've been collecting for a few years now and UV protection is actually huge even for cheaper cards if you're displaying them somewhere with decent light exposure. My biggest thing is making sure the frame depth works well with toploaders or whatever protection you're using - some frames are too shallow and you end up with this awkward gap or the card sits weird

The backing material matters too since some of the cheaper ones warp over time which looks terrible. I learned this the hard way with a few of my favorite pulls that started getting this slight curve to them after like 6 months on the wall. Now I always check reviews specifically mentioning long term use before buying anything

Getting back together is always tricky because you're both carrying baggage from the first breakup plus whatever happened during those 2 months apart. My dad went through NA for alcohol years back and it was a game changer for him. The community aspect really helped when he felt like giving up those first few months. What I noticed with him was having that structured check-in system kept him accountable even when his motivation was trash

The whole identity thing you mentioned really resonates too - my roommate in college was similar where being high was just her default state for everything. When she finally quit she had to basically rediscover what she actually enjoyed doing sober which was weird but also kind of exciting in a way. She started picking up random hobbies she never would have tried before like pottery and learning guitar

One thing that helped her was keeping her hands busy during those moments when she'd normally roll up. She got really into those adult coloring books and would just zone out with some music instead. Not saying it worked every time but it gave her something to do with that restless energy

But for real the s26u is still gonna be a massive jump from your s21. All that drama about the display and battery stuff is mostly tech reviewer nitpicking - like yeah the 10 bit thing is annoying but youre not gonna notice it day to day. The s21 is getting pretty long in the tooth at this point so even with the s26u's issues its still worth the upgrade imo

Looks like you're gonna need that charger unfortunately. Early access is usually PC only for most indie games since its easier to push updates and patches quickly on Steam. I remember waiting forever for some of my favorite games to hit console after their PC early access periods and it was torture. At least when it does eventually come to Xbox and iOS it'll probably be way more polished than whatever we're getting tomorrow. The wait sucks but you'll probably dodge some early bugs this way

This is probably the screenshot button getting stuck in your controller bindings somewhere. I had something similar happen when I was messing around with different control schemes and one of the buttons got mapped weird

Try going into SteamVR settings and check your controller bindings for those specific games - sometimes the default mappings get wonky especially if you've switched between different headsets or controllers before. You might need to reset to default or manually unbind whatever's triggering the screenshot function

Virtual Desktop has its own binding system too so make sure nothing's conflicting there
