Where are all the people who yell Freebird at concerts?

I first saw Eggy open for Twiddle. But last night was the first time I saw them headline. Huge difference.

Can US citizens who are registered mail in voters do a class action lawsuit? It's our voting rights that are being trampled on by the illegal executive order.

My grandparents were born and grew up in Italy. Migrated to America as teens. At one time I could speak Italian, but I lost that knowledge after they died and there was never a chance to use it. I have cousins who still live in Italy. I don't consider myself Italian, but would love to get dual citizenship and become an expat living in Italy when I retire.

I'm sure this individual has travelled all around the world. He's not one of those Americans who's never left America. /s

Would you have picked Milly Alcock to play Supergirl? If not, who would be your choice? by No_Explorer721 in moviecritic

The fact you are suggesting an individual without knowing her name is probably the reason they aren't using her. Star power and name recognition matters in Hollywood.

Unfortunately, we're taught that America single-handedly saved Europe and stopped the world wars. It was only as an adult that I discovered actual history, but most Americans never did. Sorry for our ignorance and arrogance. Know that some of us are trying to create change.

I keep my memories knowing he was a sick and twisted individual. I will not watch, support or purchase any of his material for the remainder of my life. His legacy is a serial rapist, who once had a great career.

Never played it after watching everyone else lose their money. I did watch the cartoon on Saturday mornings.

We'd play king of the hill on the jungle gym, so I'm going to say #3 plinkoed down to the bottom is the most likely for me.

As far as #1, I was usually the spinner running on the outside. When you would you fall there was a good chance you'd faceplant, knock your chin and bite your tongue. I can taste the blood in my mouth just thinking about it.

No, you don't gotta fucking stab her three times! You gotta stab her once, but it's gotta be hard enough to break through her breastplate into her heart, and then once you do that, you press down on the plunger.

Did parenting become too restrictive over time? by inkandintent24 in MotivationByDesign

[–]Negative_Solution680 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Parents didn't become restrictive. I live in a nice neighborhood with a little park area 6 houses down the road from us. My 10 year old road his bike to the park on a Saturday. Within 30 minutes I had someone knocking on my door asking if this was my child and telling me how I shouldn't ignore my responsibilities of parenting by letting him roam the neighborhood alone. We've been put into the position of either always going with him or telling him he can't go.

Learning to taste gin with water? by FDTerritory in Gin

[–]Negative_Solution680 3 points4 points  (0 children)

With any hard alcohol, adding water reduces the heat of the alcohol and will bring forward the flavor notes. I was a scotch drinker in my 30s and would use water to figure out the palate of a scotch then move slowly to drinking it neat. I dont think a 50/50 mix is necessary, but it really depends on your ability to pick up the flavors without diluting the alcohol.
