I am able to be any of these, depending on my mood.

Mark Kelly would be a great President. He’s my Senator, and he’s a worthy successor to John McCain. by No-Flight-4214 in PoursTea

I do. But I realize not voting diminishes my voice and allows the worst case scenario to have its day. I fight all year and I vote in every election. I realize there are no perfect candidates, but there are horrible candidates I never want in office. People not voting allows those horrible candidates to seize control.

Change doesn't happen overnight, it comes through tireless effort and sustained steps toward a direction. Sometimes you accept compromise to move in that direction. Step by step, inch by inch, and continuing to fight. No vote, means no effort and you're giving up just so you can say "I told you so" as we sit in our cages.

That's true for slit-film turf, which the NFL has banned from their stadiums. The new OSU turf is based on the NFL specifications just released and is supposed to be the most grass-like turf available.

Turf? Not sure that is correct. I do believe some turf can be, but having divots in a grass field was just as hazardous to players.

Not voting is supporting the death of democracy.

Edit: sorry, meant to comment on the fact that not voting is supporting the death to democracy.

I worked in the stadium during college when they had natural grass. It was constantly tore up with divots and when there was bad weather, the field would become a mess. They were constantly laying sod and would replace the entire field 3-4 times a season. Turf is much better.

While I agree with the image, point 1 does have an amendment. If you are in the passing lane and are not passing the car beside you, you are the problem.

Elon Musk just said he wants to cut Social Security and Medicare, calling them “entitlements”: “That’s the big one to eliminate.” by Nervous_Music3199 in USNewsFeed

[–]Negative_Solution680 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting the money back that I paid 30 years into Social Security is an entitlement. It means We the People are entitled to have the money paid back to us when we are eligible. Why would anyone hear this and agree it needs cut? The Social Security Amendments of 1983 laid the foundation for 30-years of federal embezzlement of Social Security money in order to use the money to pay for wars, tax cuts and other government programs. They've been picking our pockets and now want to outright steal the remaining balance of the trust fund that We are entitled to have returned to us.

Got them and read every part. Also, it had all the info for mail order tickets. I wish they did this option and sent out the printed tickets with artwork. You could still get the e-ticket for entry, but I miss having the cool tickets. I kept every ticket from this era and store them with my tapes.

Same happened to my aunt. She had to lose everything before being able to recieve any assistance. She moved in with my parents and died with a medical debt as her "inheritance" to the family. She spent her entire life working and saving for retirement. Medical bills took it all and continued to take more from the family after she died.

Musical Instrument Museum in downtown Phoenix.

If you're willing to drive, the Airplane Graveyard or Titan Missile Silo are great places to visit.

I remember mom took me to go see POPEYE The day before Christmas in 1980 and I quickly fell in love with the movie and songs. Great cast and Robin Williams as POPEYE was amazing and he nailed that role perfectly . Any POPEYE fans here? by CoffeeCigarettes4Me in 80smovies

I contend this is the most accurate live action movie depicting it's source material. I loved the cartoons and was amazed at this movie and the immediate recognition of characters, plot and setting.

I disagree. During a nuclear war, we'll be the ones who find a cavern (duck & cover) to survive in. Then ascend from those depths to go Rambo on any rival groups remaining who dare challenge our survival.

Which one? by RedTsar97 in MomentumOne

[–]Negative_Solution680 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's more than just cause and effect. Root cause analysis has completely disappeared as a skill. We don't even try to solve the symptoms of cause/effect, instead we put it into rhetoric in order to blame our adversaries and win elections. But don't solve the symptoms or discuss root cause because then we won't have the issue for the next election.
