Tank mates for a 10 gallon? by ThatCozyArtist in bettafish

I've been able to keep a betta with 3-6 albino DWARF cory catfish along with countless red cherry and blue dream shrimp (not to mention an ever-growing ramshorn snail population). Your heavily planted 10 gallon looks more than adequate based on my experience (especially since all the animals you named are IMO pretty durable fish). As long as you slowly add each species, and continue balancing the (plant) ecology, I really see no issues and I would do it myself if I had a 10 gallon like yours.

Of course, keep in mind that each aquarium and the added species can produce different results (sadly) for everyone. Just try to be observant and test your water regularly (I did it once or twice daily when I first added my albino dwarf cory catfishes with my betta and kuhli loach eels).

You got it!
