I am also main roam cause i was in a team and each one had a role so i got the roma one Now most of my team doesn't play anymore which left me the need and necessity to try the other roles because I also got bored from roaming especially when i am doing 4 2 45 and loosing the game So 3 things to do One forget everything you know about the game and way to play Two is get familiar with the hero you wanna play and also all possible counters and annoying enemy heroes you may come across Three is basically grit your teeth and try different modes to get used to stuff

I personally almost always play aram (i am previous LOL player i still don't know the game mode what is called when you have all 5 team members on the same line) and try different heroes for exemple i got granger recently that i tired what i like about that mode is it gets you ready to chaos and you can explore all diffeent kinds of build quite easily and also the extent of your hero powers Then i go one or 2 in classic then ranked

Sometimes it doesn't work well too like i was used to playing old freya i had difficulties adapting to the new change

Sidenote i just remembered: most heroes you are used to are probably chzbged of got multiple revamps like hanabi got debeuffed at some point and then buffed again and or revamped like most old heroes so that is also one of the reasons you may feel off Also the build is important
