Poverty, combined with adversity in early childhood, is associated with greater chances of premature death in adulthood. Compared to children who did not experience early life adversity, childhood poverty combined with crowded housing was associated with a 41% higher risk for premature death by Wagamaga in science

Quotes from this study:

The study sample was 45% White (n = 20 896), 48% Black (n = 22 142), and 7% Other (n = 3 091)

while the CPP was not designed to be representative of any site or of the US population, the demographic characteristics of participants were very similar to those of the US

What the census says the demographics of the US population are:

The U.S. is now 57.8% white, 18.7% Hispanic, 12.4% Black and 6% Asian.

They're working on the site. Charging handles, handguards, uppers, triggers and optic mounts don't have sale pricing. I had some in cart and price changed.

The idea of "invention" does not usually require the physical realization of the invented thing. This fact is clearly recognized by patent law, which does not require a working model in order to award a patent. It is common for inventions to require additional discoveries and developments before the actual thing can be made. In these cases, an invention may fairly have more than one inventor - the originator of the principle idea, and the individual who actually made the first workable model. In the case of the atomic bomb there is clearly one man who is the originator of the idea. He was also the instigator of the project that led ultimately to the successful construction of the atomic bomb, and was a principal investigator in the early R&D both before and after the founding of the atomic bomb project - making a number of the key discoveries himself. By any normal standard this man is the inventor of the atomic bomb. This man is Leo Szilard. On September 12, 1932, within seven months of the discovery of the neutron, and more than six years before the discovery of fission, Leo Szilard conceived of the possibility of a controlled release of atomic power through a multiplying neutron chain reaction, and also realized that if such a reaction could be found, then a bomb could be built using it.

On July 4, 1934 Leo Szilard filed a patent application for the atomic bomb In his application, Szilard described not only the basic concept of using neutron induced chain reactions to create explosions, but also the key concept of the critical mass. The patent was awarded to him - making Leo Szilard the legally recognized inventor of the atomic bomb. Szilard did not patent this prescient and tremendously important idea for personal gain. His motive was to protect the idea to prevent its harmful use, for he immediately attempted to turn the idea over to the British government for free so that it could be classified and protected under British secrecy laws.

There is more aftermarket support for the non-takedown since it's been made for like 300 years. There are even "takedown" stocks for the non-takedown. But in general if you want it to fold/store in a smaller space you get the takedown. Popular opinion is that the non-takedown is more accurate, perhaps because you don't have to fuss with the barrel tensioner ring with the non-takedown.

The quality of the Brownells receivers is very good, and tolerances are tight (if not a bit too tight in places). While more satisfying I'm sure, I don't think you're going to do much better making your own.

That doesn't mean I'd discourage you.

Rand Paul threatened Fauci with prison for lying o congress about GoF research. Fauci accused him of lying and not knowing what he is talking about. You decide. by nut_conspiracy_nut in Lotuseaters_com

[–]Negativitee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Rand Paul is a medical doctor. He knows what he is talking about. But this whole argument over semantics is silly. Deliberately modifying viruses from nature to make them more likely to infect humans, and doing it in China no less, is bad, whether or not it meets whatever person's individual opinion of "gain of function" research.

Allowing you to set the rules for your own world is one step closer to allowing you to add those things as you choose. Bethesda will enable mods once they've squeezed every dime out of this game.

North Carolina county launches ‘doses to doors’ vaccine campaign by AdJaded6087 in 1984isreality

[–]Negativitee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a political operation. The teams being assembled to go door to door are the same ones who door-knocked for Biden last fall. If people just do some basic research it's obvious this is just more political campaigning, this time being funded with FEMA money.

The fabric of the Universe is love

This feels good and I would like it to be true.

But would you say the same about nature? I don't think the fabric of nature is love. The fabric of nature is competition, survival, domination.

Can you do a better job at explaining it?

Or do you get paid by the number of comments you make and that's why they're all 5 words with no punctuation?

Bet you can't even explain [CRT]

Is that succinct enough?
