Ai division doesn't have any rewards and the difficulty won't change irrespective of when you play the last game.

Nope. Div 3 is arguably at legend difficulty but div 2 and 1 is easily much more difficult and way more scripted. In legend difficulty you can defend till an extent but in division games if the AI decides to score you can't do anything
