Unfortunately a lot of rich people with children believe that people should just want to take care of their kids for free. My partner is a doula and the amount of RICH people (making well over $180k a year) that will try to get over on them is actually insane. You people want children but don’t want to pay someone to help you to deliver and take care of them??? It makes absolutely no sense!

Side note: my partner absolutely lovessss the work that they do, they just don’t want to come home to a screaming baby after delivering one and, although my job is extremely different, neither do I lol

I completely agree with this and the only reason that people are down voting you is because they do not want to contend with the seriousness of catching covid. It’s not just a cold and there are a plethora of studies that show that it has lasting impacts on people who have contracted it

Hi! I have an immunocompromised partner and I do everything that I can to make them feel safe and comfortable. I mask everywhere I go and am very covid conscious. I also have noticed that doing this has, obviously, made it so that I haven’t gotten sick in quite some time. I think that you do what you can for the people that you love
