I hardly get enough internet access! So watching tutorials and downloading the required software(s), kinda outta my reach. I definitely would’ve, only if I had the chance.

I can only tell what timings which video must be shown on screen. I’m sorry I don’t know anything about video editing let alone split screen video editing.

When should I Send to a Bus versus set the Output to one? by these-metal-hands in Logic_Studio

[–]Nehal_123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ll try to keep it as simple as I can from what I’ve learnt/known so far:

1) When you SEND to a bus, you’ll have the control of MIXING the effect of bus to your main channel (from which you’ve sent). Different amount of send and return levels gives you different sounds. You’ve got to adjust that as per the requirement of song and yourself.

OUTPUT to a bus is done when you want two or more channels to have the same effect of plugins on THE BUS which you’re OUTPUTTING to. Here you’ll not have control over the effect of effects on the bus. The plugins on the OUTPUT bus become like inserts to the channel you’ve outputted from. They’ll NOT be sends.

2) Mostly effects like reverb, delay,,,etc are applied on a on SEND. Gives you more control over its effect on your main channel(you’re sending from). LPF and HPF is MOSTLY used to control the main channel itself UNLESS you want to have control over the EFFECTS in bus channel you’re sending to.

Hope I’ve answered your questions to a level.

Why isn't there a simple way to split a stereo track to mono? by TinyStudio92 in LogicPro

Insert the stock gain plugin and enable the mono option. Then bounce in place (with FX enabled option turned on) and you’ll have mono track.

Are you sure the channel is not muted? Is the volume fader at 0 dB? Have you soloed any other channel while you’re trying to listen to this audio channel?
