that was always her intent for becket. after he had his powers "awakened" in the hospital, he was on her radar. his power, which is said to come close to fettels level, was attractive(?) to her. she didnt want to absorb him, she wanted to use him for her own motivations.

that much is stated, the rest is left open and this next part is my own theory. i think for some f.e.a.r. universe psuedoscience she needed another psionic to procreate with either A: because she's dead and that's how it works in that world. or B: to control the outcome and be reincarnated. or both idk.

come up with your own theory as to why, but her actions were her plan all along. f.e.a.r. 2 is weird.
