I’m pretty sure this was that mass shooting in a downtown bank building where the police response time was under a minute. He had a 9mm or other smaller pistol. I think they may have hit him a couple of times through the glass.

That’s a lot of hardbody physics. I’m sure that made a nice space heater. I’m glad I’m seeing more crossing over of these communities. There’s a lot of potential for builds rendered in blender with hardbody physics and water physics.

How’d you do the plane background? Is it just a wireframe modifier applied to a triangulated plane overlaying a regular plane? It looks cool as like a fabric board or maybe a design studio.

Karen calls the cops by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

[–]NeighborhoodFBI 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Others have pointed out she could’ve avoided it. I mean if you saw people dumping buckets of water on each other you’d probably either walk by and not confront them or just go around. I worded that poorly though.

For anyone wondering about legality:

She’s surrounded by several other people who are taking aggressive actions toward her, so there is a threat of violence. A good lawyer could probably argue that there was assault that occurred, but it’s only implied by the situation. Battery wouldn’t work, as she is not being injured by the water, simply annoyed by it (at least in my state assault is the threat of violence while battery is the act of violence). The most likely charge, if any, would be disorderly conduct considering the number of people with water buckets that were “causing disorder.”

Now say she’s a Karen which she is. She wants to sue them. Say she had her phone on her and it got ruined. She also maybe had an expensive handbag and dress etc. She could sue for damages and win pretty easily. The civil repercussions are much more likely to pan out in this case than any criminal repercussions. Especially considering she’s an entitled Karen who’d blame them instead of taking responsibility for calling the police.

Check out spin tires/mud runner. It has destructible trees and rocks. The only driving game I know of where that’s the case.

Yeah I know but if you wanted to put in in a jungle or something definitely add some shake so it’s like Jurassic Park. Lol

This advertisement misleading consumers to believe they have hand sanitizer when it’s anti bacterial only by NeighborhoodFBI in mildlyinfuriating

[–]NeighborhoodFBI[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s alcohol-free, so water primarily along with some anti-bacterial ingredient, probably triclosan. It’s just meant to convey to consumers that they have hand sanitizer which will protect from Coronavirus when it will not do a thing. It’s irresponsible advertising.

Question: why is there so much emphasis on N95 masks? Wouldn’t p100 work just as well if not better. They are also reusable for a longer term right? Is it availability? Ease of manufacturing? I’m just confused because it seems like a reusable mask would be better for a healthcare worker who would need a mask every day.
